the first part makes me want to play him in muldrotha edh, just not sure if i have a use for the 2nd ability... and if 5 mana is worth the first effect
and the Award for "Least Pushed card in a cycle" goes to....
Shivan Gorge definitely still wins. The other cards in the cycle are Gaea's Cradle, Tolarian Academy, Phyrexian Tower, and Serra's Sanctum. All of which are either legacy playable or banned.
The land coming into play untapped is great and this does fuel the grave with 5 cards so maybe that's it's niche. I'm just unsure how good this is overall? Apprehensive to call this bad
Well if they made Urza tron into this coreset would be fun to see a deck with that elf from core19 this cavalier and the scout 5c legendary, like it would be easy to assemble tron but not a lot of things to do with the mana
I'm not sure why the death trigger is so weak. I mean how much more powerful would putting the card in your hand be? This feels like a huge miss here
Too powerful, I'd say.
Compare this to Elvish Rejuvenator.
Better stats for cost + reach + death trigger + put the land untapped + puts the cards into your graveyard.
Drawback is the ramp is slightly less useful on a more expensive creature and the high colored mana cost.
This seems pretty solid to me.

I guess Greenwarden of Murasa is still my main elemental for bringing cards back but I could still put it in for land ramp purposes though
Many thanks to DNC at Heroes of the Plane Studios
