My first thought was "wow, this is horrible. In a 1- or 2-color deck, it's just an ordinary land that you can't play on turn 1 or 2. In a deck with 4 or 5 colors, you don't want to sacrifice two dual lands for a land that can only provide one color at a time."
My next thought was "hmm, so now I can play Chainwhirler, Benalish Champion and Steel Leaf Champion in the same deck ..."
Wow this is powerful. Being able to avoid the blowout of field of ruin, ghost quarter etc etc is huge.
This is surprisingly close to a strictly better lotus vale. Sure it enters tapped but at the same time the 2 lands you sac don't have to be tapped and of course the hexproof part is huge. Does seem like it's just a better option.
I might be wrong, but this card seems to lack any text for what would happen if you are unable to sacrifice two lands ('if you do not, sacrifice this permanent'), nor is it worded as an additional cost or some such. Does that mean that if you play this as your first land, you wouldn't loose any lands at all?
Lotus Vale is not a card I expected to see in Standard/Modern, especially not a near-strictly-better version. I say near because while this doesn't enter untapped, you can sacrifice tapped lands to it and it is protected from removal. Seems decent, and a strong ramping tool for a mono-colored deck that can afford to take a turn off from its land drops.

That's usually a bad idea; this is, after all, itself a land, so you must sacrifice it if you don't have at least two other lands to sacrifice (because effects always do as much as they can).

Nope, you would have to sacrifice It. It enters, asks for the sacrifice, does it to self being the only land available.
Do not know how I feel about this one. Could be interesting in the kind of land sacrifice decks I like but might set you back too far even in EDH. Definitely don't see this being that good in limited.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

funnily, it can pay to disallow, repudiate, stifle or trickbind itself t1. "any one" color impeding voidslime.oops, enters tapped
It enters tapped, so it can’t pay the cost of something that counters the sacrifice ability.

Lotus Field can do some funny stuff.
Turn 1 in Modern:
Exile Simian Spirit Guide, Cast Amulet of Vigor
Lotus field, untap and float 3 mana, sac Lotus Field, cast 3 mana spell.
In Commander
Pair with Voyaging Satyr, Garruk Wildspeaker, Kiora's Follower, Thespian's Stage, Deserted Temple, Palinchron... basically any number of cards that like playing with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or Cabal Coffers. Turn 2 Voyaging Satyr into turn three Lotus Field gets you 5 mana on turn 3, and at least 6 mana on turn 4.
With Living Plane, you can use Torpor Orb to stop the ETB trigger.
In Standard:
Blossom Dryad
Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner
Teferi, Hero of Dominaria
Just don't play it with Yarok, the Desecrated.
If I still played Standard I would play this with Kiora to play Elder Dinosaurs.
