Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.
This might be playable in Modern Spirits! I've heard quite a few reports that they want another 1-drop, and this is a sneaky, evasive 1-drop with late-game value.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Jeez don't remind me... I have a pirate deck for EDH that never gets played. It was fun, but the pirate cards just can't hold their own against... well... most decks. Tis a shame, but I will wait until the day we get better pirates. (This guy is a good pirate, I just need something a little more... well, Commander-y.)
