I only see four of them, maybe we won't be getting a full cycle this time?
From the tweet:
Time for my free preview!!
I've got FIVE cards as a spoiler, but I do have a CHALLENGE. I'm going to show you FOUR and I bet you can't guess the fifth one.
It was a joke since no one will be able to guess that the fifth card is Temple of Triumph
Beautiful new art on these cards! Nothing could convince me to change out my original Temple of Mystery though.
So thrilled to be getting even more glimpses of Theros! I've dearly missed Theros, and hope we are returning ASAP. Spring set please? Since I know Fall has to be a new plane.
Well, last we saw Theros, Ajani was spreading the truth about the gods as manifestations of belief (this is how Xenagos was able to become a god, after all) and telling people to stop believing in them, out of revenge for Heliod killing Elspeth. The temples have most likely been destroyed as a result of that. (That makes the memorial to Gideon rather interesting in that respect, because it's a shrine to a seemingly human figure and not a divine one...)

The temples don't look destroyed. Also, Theros is very adherent to its pantheon, I highly doubt Ajani accomplished as much as he'd like to believe he did.
I do wish these had been the enemy cycle of the BFZ Tango-lands, or whatever we're calling them. I really wanted a UG one.
Is it announed yet if we are going to a returning or a new Plane this year because oh man i wanna go back to Theroes
We’re getting a new plane in the fall. I can’t source that off hand but it’s been floating around here for a while. After that who knows, though. It’s certainly being heavily hinted at.

Eh, they're not necessarily destroyed, but they're in bad shape and most of them look dilapidated. For example, compare the new art on Temple of Mystery to the original art - the branches on the trees making up the center of the temple are completely bare. This is pretty much true for the other temples (Temple of Malady is overgrown with vines and the cauldron is cracked, etc.), but Temple of Triumph looks just as, if not more impressive than before.

Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.

It will be interesting when we go back because the nature of the Theros pantheon (fueled by devotion) makes them all very flexible. Depending on how eroded the beliefs are on the plane now all of the gods could be very different. And there may even be new ones!
The art on these is lovely and makes me jealous we aren't getting allied pairs since I play those more.
I don't really see this "dilapidated state" for the temples.
If you look at these and and then at the other arts, they just seem completely different structures and not dilapidated at all. Apart may be for temple of malady, but the original one barely looked like a structure to begin with. Not to mention that Pharika made snake tokens, so... those "vines" could very well be big snakes.

The mortals are waging war against the gods, Heliod in particular, after the god of the sun killed their champion.

I'll admit I was hoping for an uncommon enemy version of the Mirage fetches or wedges of the Shards panoramas but these will do.

I 100 % agree. I never liked these.
