It's only until EoT, you have to cast this on your turn.
If you cast this during an End Phase, the effect lasts until the next End Phase, so you can cast it before you turn.
This only works if it says "At the beginning of the next end step", until end of turn wears off at the end of the turn no matter when it was cast. It is part of the clean up phase when no one has priority to do anything.
