Awesome. Expected after Leyline of Sanctity, but there was still doubt after the new red Leyline. Also, either the best or second best art (I really don't like the original art compared to this one and the M11 art).

A popular sideboard card is still just a sideboard card. This may drop to $5 for awhile, similar to when Stony Silence got reprinted.

I'm hoping for Anticipation too, but with Reclamation decks running wild and Control being such a force, it may not be a good idea. I'd still love it just to crash the price a bit.

Glad I sold mine a while ago. Going to tank hard. Gonna pick up some of these once the price crashes. Great for buyers!

Well the thing is modern is a graveyard meta format now and every deck needs somekind of gravehate. imo this will not drop under $15

Usually rare cards had some hard time being over $20. Dunno about this one being over $20. $15 seems about right. Crucible didn't hold its price at all even as mythic (although not comparable to this sb super star).

Actually I hope its price get crushed, so I can get as many copies for all my decks.

Haha, I have like six of these floating around between sideboards and edh decls. I had no idea they’d spiked so high or I would have sold a few. Still, it’s always nice to see them reprinting cards that need it.

This is different graveyard strategy’s are huge in modern as a matter of fact modern horizons brought the birth of a new one with Hogaak

It’s staying in the 20$ or above area because it’s like thee best graveyard defense card to have

Preordering at $20 right now. This is a $10 card if the set is opened at all.

finally, this happened. Great sideboard card should not be 70$.

There are just many more limited and standard players than modern. For them, this is a card to sell. It will be cheaper than 20.

A RARE printed in a standard set? Crucible of worlds was a $60 card and got reprinted at mythic yet was available for under $15 for several months. Sure leyline sees a lot of modern sideboard play but Crucible sees a ton of EDH play which balances out. This card is going to be sub $10, pure supply and demand will stop this staying at $30 because you can't have such high EV in the box as everyone will crack boxes to sell lowering the price etc etc.

Also for a lot of people they already bought leylines if they used them in modern because before the spikes dude to the original dredge build it was a $20 card in 2018. Crucible on the other hand had been over $50 since the end of 2015 and likely priced a lot of people out for several years until the reprints.

My point being demand is not as high as you'd think and price will tank a lot more than you think too. If you're in the market for leyline for whatever reason you'll easily get a playset sub $50 which is a still compared to the current $50 for 1 price tag.
