That is a POWERFUL card for monoblack decks. I'm not sure how practical it is outside of Standard (thanks to things like Iona, Shield of Emeria), but this might make it in Standard.

Yes! Magic needs more nightmares! The art is fantastic and the abilities are on point. The power is just right too for a 3/3 4 drop. Cannot wait to play with this card!
Cute in limited but could be a lot better, given this thing locks you into mono black. The competitive CMC 4 pws generates advantage more consistently, are much more resilient and can be stuffed in 2-5 color decks.
I wish this costed BBB to be the true representative of GCW cycle as Dread Shade was really underwhelming.
