I love it already. Going to be fun in commander. A fairly cheap angel for Angel tribal decks, a nice bonus for life gain strategies. And a decent flyer. At worst it is a wind drake in white, at best, it's a 4/4 for three that nets you extra life when gaining life.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Oh nice, the "if you have X or more life" clause that screw commander is back again.
Thank god the card is actually weak an it's not at the same level as serra ascendant

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

How exactly does it screw commander? If anything, it's amazing in commander.

I think it was about having the creature come in as a flying 4/4 on T2/3. Well... She is a less broken version of the ascendant (for Commander).
I might find her a spot on either of my Angels deck: Selesnya with Exploration + Wildgrowth Walker, Orzhow with Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord or just brew a monowhite lifelink deck.
Soul Sisters might want to try this. Of course, I say that a lot and it never happens, but this becomes a nice budget alternative to Serra Ascendant in that deck.

Well the interesting part here is that she is only number 4 and has a life gain theme. Ajani fits before her and had some life gain abilities in the past. Maybe we get some more Angels with some kind of life gain payoff.
I know it doesn't fit for white but some kind of "create {W} when gaining life, spend this mana only for white spells" or something like that would be cool.

... Archangel of Thune ... That would be a pretty valuable reprint as a lifegain payoff. But with the lifelink tokens being in standard she would be a little too broken.

Well, as Ascendant isn't banned in Commander, it is hardly broken in the format. While both cards are potentially more powerful due to the higher starting life total, the same life total also prevents them from being busted. Combine this with the prevalence of removal in the format, and it's not really an issue. That said, it is pretty pushed for a three mana uncommon, but not by much. If it had cost one generic more, I doubt anyone would have even batted an eye.

Agreed, "broken" is a bit of a stretch, but it gives the idea in less words than "does on default what should be hard to achieve in a normal game".
Yeah, problem with that though is that Broken has a specific definition in the context of the game. I.e. if you are playing the color the card is in, you always want to run the card because not doing so puts you at a serious disadvantage against those who do, or it is part of a combo that will win the game.
Powerful in commander, yes. But your deck can function without it.
We also have to take into account that as one of the 99 in the format, the chance of actually getting it early is fairly slim.

The only different is that she has the power up without trouble at the start of the game. Cards with life point costs have a similar advantage. Look at toxic deluge and co.
Jokes aside, having angels is armour is nothing new and fits both the Boros and the Serra Angels protecting Benalia. If you are prepared for war, no matter how thick is your skin, a plate armour will still add an extra layer of protection... As long as you don't leave big areas of the body exposed like the midriff (looking at you Razia and Reya) even if it looks cool, it is bloody stupid use of armour.
On a sidenote, I personally like girls in armour.
On the other hand, when angels do not have a "warrior" flavour to them, like this one, angelic guardian, angel of the dawn or starlit angel it make more sense to have them in regular clothes or something that doesn't hinder flight.

Nice angel spoiler
EDIT: seems the forums are still missing the M20 prefix.
The card itself is alright too for casual stuff.

Anyway she seems good combine with trigger effects that gain you life and lifelink mainly.
Yeah, I've been getting tired of the fully armored boros angels, I mean they're angels, why do they need armor for?
I keep wishing they would look more like Victoria's secret angels rather than a swat team type of angels.

This said, sometimes I miss some of the less prudish art like pristine angel, deathless angel or tormented angel.
