Throatseeker is effective and hilarious, while Phantom Ninja converts Phantom Warrior into the more appropriate occupation.
The Portal version was basically a Samurai if you look at the art. And the original Weatherlight card was more of an apparition (its creature type was Illusion)
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Ninja of the New Moon is at the top of the Ninjutsu curve and probably will be saying "good night" to your op's life total when it comes down...6 power unblocked...
Ugh, not looking forward to seeing these 3 flood Pauper. UB Ninjas/Faeries probably just became a Tier 1 thing. Boo.
Yeah, some of these commons are making me wince a little
Nothing like having to hold back a Bolt, you can't block a Spellstutter Sprite they ninja in Ninja of the New Moon returning SS to hand and counter your Bolt and end the game. So much fun to give UB great aggro/tempo cards. Granted that is 6 mana but I bet it finishes games that way.

UBx spirits could do some nasty work with that 6/3 in modern. One lord puts him out of bolt range and tormented soul is an easy trigger for it. Bloodghast is also a spirit that people don't much like to block. This could push them into haste range for bloodghast very very quickly.
T1? Eh prob not. This ain't anywhere near as explosive as collected company but esper does give you access to lingering souls which makes triggering ninjutsu incredibly easy through the sheer number of bodies.
I might take a part Eritrea and convert want I can to ninjas the new cards all look so fun to play and its in colors I don't yet have a triple deck for.

Now that we’ve seen all the ninjas (maybe), what is this new plane like?Definitely Euro-inspired.
Looking at the Art it looks like a plane that takes inspiration both from the far east and early colonization era western Europe. There are definitely influences of both in the building styles and the decor. I am thinking late 15th century/early 16th century. It definitely has a clear mercantile vibe, and in such an era, where international trade routes were blossoming, Ninjas fit right in.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Not sure how I feel about ninjas in a heavily european inspired setting, if that is what this plane is. If it's a more abstract/original plane (like some from early Magic) then I'm all for it.
