Yay, there might be enough spiders to make a dumb spider deck. Though some DnD influenced striders would be useful.

That actually isn't a terrible finisher and it's great value tbh. The 2/4 by itself is fine and if it stays around you get to get another body and drain for at least 2 for the first activation. After that you're probably only 2-4 turns away from lethal.

spider spawning or ishkanah, Graf widow can make this very potent very quickly.

GB is also the color that can answer any permanent type as well as discard any annoying spells your opponent may cast.

It plays very nicely in an aristocrats shell also.

Yeah, I was racing to delete my original post. This is just plain silly in that deck. I might have to look into building it.

Don't forget on prerelease weekend: those changeling 1-drops? Those are Spiders, too!

you know there wasnt much in the set for GBx in modern when they give reid duke a card like this.

Funny that it attacks the GY, unlike Hatchery Spider, Graverobber Spider, or even Ishkanah, which are fueled by a fuller grave.

Not a fan of the teeth filled "normal" mouth on a spider, nor its eyes being 10+ in number and lacking any bilateral symmetry.

...apart from that though a nice inclusion for Ishkanah.

Kev Walker has drawn that Kavu several times on other cards if i'm not mistaken.

Really wish it could exile a creature card from ANY graveyard and not just your own. Would have been a lot better imo.
