Mind Rake is weird, to say the least. It's a pretty decent madness enabler, I guess.
Smiting Helix is awesome design.
Frostwalla is awesome and I think it could be a Pauper all-star. I don't play paper Magic anymore but if paper Pauper were to become a thing, I might be interested in brewing a Gruul Skred deck...
The art on Everdream is some of Nils Hamm's best.
Watcher for Tomorrow is...hard to evaluate, honestly...

All of them look interesting and playable. Smiting Helix is going to become a staple in Mardu commander decks.
I don't know about becoming a staple. Four mana is a big ask, considering how many things three damage doesn't kill. You're in the three colors best at killing creatures, so Smiting Helix will see some extremely stiff competition to make it into decks, even considering the fact that you can use it twice.

I think being a sorcery also hurts it. I dont think it will get much attention in EDH

For sure. Especially considering the first cast is hot garbage.
Unrelated: Mind Rake is neat from a design perspective because they initially designed Overload specifically to not effect the player casting it.
U hideaway nerd seems great. What is so nice is that once you dump the mana into him you can just start turning it sideways because your opponent won't want to deal with you drawing whatever you have under it. It can sneak in for 2-6 points of damage before you just brick wall something fat because it's card parity if they kill it.
Mind Rake's use of overload is how I wanted it to be done the first time around. Cyclonic Rift for instance wouldn't be so OP if they had just made it symmetrical.
I have seen Smiting Helix word-for-word over on the Custom Card forum.
Everdream seems... bad to me. Maybe I'm not hip to the Modern, but I wouldn't play it in anything. I am glad to see Splice being revived in a more useful form.
Hideaway on a creature is very nice, but it really highlights the "enters tapped" that is baked into hideaway's reminder text. Should've just had the lands enter tapped back in Lorwyn so we wouldn't have to stumble over it now.
Nice group

watcher for tomorrow in a blink deck looks legit. Pseudo "Scry 4" + draw at each blink is quite the digging.
smiting helix's colors mean it's only playable in mardu, which could use the help. The front side is costly though, but that's what looting is for.

Obviously great with flickers but it's also good with kess, dissident mage, naban, dean of iteration, or panharmonicon.
Yes, the reminder text states it is a triggered ability that triggers upon the creature entering the battlefield.

Frostwalla is a Rootwalla for a new age, yawn.
If I wanted to allow myself to discard, I would never play it without Overload, at which point it's way overcosted. Otherwise, it's a Mind Rot.
So it's either really bad, or designed for a Multiplayer format in a "Modern" set.
EDIT: I can't read
