Hahaha I love the guy from the youtube video who got the spoiler. Shame on you wizards, we spanish mtg players deserve more.
Typical american way of thinking anyways, they make most of the movies and think they are the center of the world. But all the world maps are centered on Spain, eat that haha.
Other than that, I can't comment much on the card since it's a pretty useless reprint. Wasting valuable reprint slots in this... the only thing I can say is that since I started playing in Odyssey, this card brings me memories.
For 3 mana you can get a dreadhorde arcanist in for no less than 4 + whatever 4 cmc or less spell in the yard off a an empty board, and flashing something back like atarka's command for free could be back breaking if you have some prowess needs out like monastary swiftspear.
It doesn't seem that great but even in burn if you can get the creature through it represents two bolts on one card.
It's a potent card and one I'm very glad didn't go through standard.
Could heroic get there in Modern??? Two of these and two Arena Athletes closed out several games in short order in UMA limited. Not that that necessarily translates to Modern, but damn did it seal a lot of wins for me.
Oh, how I have tried to make Fabled Hero work. Never quite got there.
Too removal-weak though. I think we'd need something with inherent constant hexproof to play it like Bogles. Battlefield Thaumaturge just won't cut it.
Maaaaaaaybe Giver of Runes is worth a dabble and revisit.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
