MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Quite the human hate and aristocrats enabler while drawing cards. Definitely build-around potential. Sure you, need creatures, but 1 life for 1 card can be busted in the correct build.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Does this make a loop with an Undying creature (like Geralf’s Messenger)? How does the timing work (Would it be back to the battlefield for the -1/-1 counter...if not, maybe if you had two undying creatures....)
He's here boys and girls. The ultimate big bad himself, in human form. Finally, we have pretty much every major character from MtG lore in black-border. We are lacking a few side characters like Gix, but honestly, this set delivered big time lore-wise.
And boy, he's good. Costless sacrifice engine that kills creatures, draws cards and has a very relevant protection clause, all for a measly lifepoint? Sweet baby Jesus that is strong. Probably the best Aristocrat enabler ever made, and wouldn't be surprised at all to see him hitting Constructed. The proliferation is just a nice bonus, and I honestly think he might be even stronger than Urza when it comes down for Modern applications (but Urza is still much stronger in Commander).

Seems like it has potential for Aristocratics.
I don't believe it makes an infinite loop with one messenger, because you have to target a creature upon activating his ability, and messenger that returns from an undying trigger is a new object. Now with two of them I believe it does work.

You need the target to be on the field when the ability goes on the stack so with 2 undying creatures it would loop just fine ( 1 to sac, 1 to target per loop) but you also need to recoup the life loss, so that makes this a blood artist combo. I'm not sure that 4 card blood artist combos are better than any other versions currently available in Modern and we don't see blood artist in any tier decks I can think of.

Green alredy has 2 Mythics, I think this is not a rarity cycle and the legends will be: Urza, yawgmoth, Sisay, Ayula and a red one

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again"

I'm theorizing that Gaea could be the green. As for red I have no idea, Mishra maybe? (assuming this is in fact following "the Brother's War" as a theme)
It’s exactly the description they have of him in the books before he became this
Yeah, young, tall,dark,handsome... exactly as he is described. Well,he managed to charm Rebbec on personal level,Dyfed as well, and many more by pure power of charisma.
The art is very fitting.
