The First SliverWUBRG
Legendary Creature - Sliver (Mythic)
Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.)
Sliver spells you cast have cascade.

Dregscape Sliver1B
Creature - Sliver (Uncommon)
Each Sliver creature card in your graveyard has unearth 2.
Unearth 2(2: Return this card from your graveyard to the battlefield. It gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step or if it would leave the battlefield. Unearth only as a sorcery.)
2/2
Lavabelly Sliver1RW
Creature - Sliver (Uncommon)
Sliver creatures you control have "When this creature enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage to target player or planeswalker and you gain 1 life." Warm enough to incubate eggs or incinerate those who would eat them.
2/2
Tempered Sliver2G
Creature - Sliver (Uncommon)
Sliver creatures you control have "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, put a +1/+1 counter on it." The question isn't whether slivers will adapt to a world's perils but whether the world's perils will adapt to slivers.

Oh wow, sexy rathi slivers, nice!
But how many pentacolor slivers legend do we need?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.
uh Woah, I guess Slivers get stronger (because they totally needed to be more (they didn't)). Unearth Sliver is interesting, but Cascade, this means slivers will be coming out in full even more in EDH decks.
As much as I love the First Sliver and the way she rewards playing more expensive slivers, that RW lightning Helix sliver is everything I've ever wanted in Slivers.

I think it's good design for their tribe leaders to be 5 colors. The whole gimmick is that they grant each other whatever inherent abilities/characteristics they have - so a hive leader, progenitor, first born, whatever would have gained abilities over time from all of the other adaptations.
It works here, unlike something like that warrior from battlebond.
Okay, someone help me because I'm seriously stumped.
After printing the enemy "horizon" cycle, Urza, Serra, Morophon, Slivers, the Basic Fetch, and a whole slew of other goodies... how well does wizards really expect core 2020 to sell the NEXT MONTH.
I know that the set will be aimed at standard players but I don't envy the set design team tasked with following up this monster of a set.
First Sliver looks gross, double silvers every turn.

It does chain into more slivers as cascade lets you cast the cascade spell . . . so if you cascade into a sliver, you cascade again
I don't think it does, since it isn't on the battlefield yet when its cascade triggers so its static ability isn't in effect. Any subsequent Slivers do chain, though.
Nice the slivers look like Slivers again, not those weird things in M10
Agreed. This is beautiful!
We live in a day and age where our Slivers can finally be Slivers again!

One of the best things about the article that spoils these is they made it a point to state that they deliberately chose to base new sliver designs on the Tempest/Onslaught/Time Spiral slivers rather than the M14 slivers.

It would have been also extra great if may Ron Spencer did some, but I'll take these.
