How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Seems comparable to Aeromonculous which suggests playable in draft. Blue Hill Giant that can do a reasonable Shivan Dragon reprint can't be horrible can it?
that's cute
feel like the name demands some sort of "creatures damaged by this don't untap next turn" effect
on second thoughts I think the name demands beatings for everyone involved in naming it
a lot of the card names in this set so far smack of being unchanged playtesting cards
Uh, wow. That is going to be a nice thing to draft. And it's a common, too!
Wait, are we allowed to add all snows to our basic land? I assume it’s like wastes where we can only use what we crack/draft and otherwise it’s all nonsnow basics. Which is to say you’re gonna have to work hard to make this able to monstrosify and be any better than Giant Octopus.
There’s going to be on average 3 snow lands per person in a draft? You’d have had to go deep on the snow matters draft prioritization to make this not-awful.

I am pretty sure basics is not the only way to produce snow mana in this set especially if Snow archetype is GU.

Yes, at least we could only add the ones we opened in cold snap.
I guess it is fine in limited, but it is not a high pick (too slow).

I don't think it will be very good in Limited, it obviously has no place in ay Constructed deck, but I want a bunch of copies because that us the best name since Scuttling Doom Engine

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Not sure how effective it is in draft but can be doable. Wow, this is turning out to be quite an awesome set flavourwise and mechanicwise. It'd be nice if more sets were like this.

Rolls much better off the tongue.
