Maybe not as good as the green one, but I can't WAIT to blow out those stupid Phoenix decks with it. 'Oh, 3 Phoenix and a Thing this turn? It would be a shame if...'
Thing in the ice flipping is not entering the battlefield
Yes it is. Tranforming causes the card to leave the battlefield and return in it's transformed state.
no. just cards that states "exile and return it transformed" like the legend/pw because of loyaly counters. werewolves and other "normal" transformation does not leave/enter or they would never be able to attack

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again"

Not really, tokens decks advantage is that one card produces multiple creatures, if this is used pitching a card the tokens deck just got card advantage anyway, if they use mana it is 1vs1 card.
The "if its not your turn" clause feels like it's only there to fit the cycle rather than because it's necessary for the card. If that clause is just there because of the blue one it seems like it could've just been omitted for the rest of the cycle without any loss.

The card's job is to squelch reanimator and Natural Order-type shenanigans, which can often occur before a proper response is otherwise possible. Removing its ability to respond to those plays profoundly weakens the card.
I would be shocked if this saw any consistent play in the format. You want your removal spells to be as versatile as possible generally. This screams narrow hate card against decks that don't make up enough of the format to warrant playing.
Good but still a missed opportunity. I think it should have been printed as " Until end of turn if a creature would enter the battlefield it goes to the gravyard instead "
The replacement could stop Grizlbrand and other comes into play effects equally.
