I wonder if in Pauper Izzet Blitz/One-Shot Kiln Fiend would want to try the Fists out.

Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Is it just me or does it seem like they turned snow lands into a cash grab when they really just should be... idk... available to players? Full Art Snow Lands sounds expensive to me.
Long story short, I want to play that Treefolk but I doubt I will get a playset of lands to go with it due to the price.
I'm hoping that cards that care about Snow-Permanents aren't in U/G exclusively, especially considering that Red cared about Snow permanents most frequently traditionally.

While Red is the only deck that uses snow permanents in any current format the spread of snow across the colors is fairly even.

The inclusion of snow-basics/snow cards makes me think the theory of the next set being set on a snow covered plane more plausible. It seems odd that their adding g/u cards for a deck in modern that is 98% red. Plus it would be a cheeky way to have this treefolk and snow coatl be pre-prints for the next set. Plus they can print non-full art snow basic in that set to support the theme. They don’t even need to print regular basic in the set either since every set has them now.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

This just sounds tinfoil hat more than anything. Modern Horizons is a print-to-demand set with 36 packs to a box. There's going to be ample amounts of Snow Lands to go around. It's not like Masters sets that are 24-packs to a box that retail at $300 MSRP (not that we have MSRP now), and a ton of it is going to be opened because it's over 85%+ new cards only available in the set. There's nothing "cash grabby" about it, but people sure do like that buzzword a lot.
Jared... interesting that he started the first planeswalker war, and we just had the second one go off with little fanfare. Wonder if this means we will get reference to prerevisionist material in the main story.
Or maybe this is seeding a Kristina card in a supplemental set?
Is there a reason they would reference him here and now, or am I in tinfoil hatsville?

Latest proof this forum is a trashfire:
Your authoritarianism will be the reason the company suffers another 60M in losses.
Wish there were more spells that do something based on the number of cards you’ve drawn this turn. Yet again, such mechanic can be just as dangerous as Storm.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Also, Jared Carthalion ... will he show up himself as a legend?
We just need to get Jared (not the pro) but would not be surprised if they did it for commander and made it look like pro Jared (meme time)
