That new lord though looks so cool in edh! I love how it is literally whatever tribe you want it to be! And th eart looks really nice, that in foil will be a beautiful card!

hmmmm neat a changeling commander. Tough i wasn't aware that changelings were so vital to the moderm meta game. Maybe they want to add some support to tribal decks?
Question - if you pick a creature type, like Vampire, can you play a Vampire that costs 2WB for just 2? Or does the cost of the spell have to have one of each color in order to have it's CMC reduced?

Love Morophon, hate the name. Seems pretty lazy. Like why does it have to almost have "Morph" in it's name?

I mean, it has to be of a certain type, and only if they have no more than 1 of any color of mana in their cost, but basically yes. Also comboes well with Horde of Notions for Elemental tribal.
Edit: I was misremembering what Horde does, does not interact at all.

Everything is Modern legal, but not all about Modern. they specifically said other formats would be getting some love. For Modern players, this will just be one of the most expensive cards in the set and a really nice pull that will be easily traded to 90% of EDH players ever

This is maybe the best Angel Tribal commander now?
I mean:
Maelstrom Angel, Atraxa, Jenara for 0
Lightning Angel, Stoic Angel, Feather for 1 CC
Seraph of the Scale, Aurelia for 2 CC
Sigarda both for 3 CC
Tariel for 4
Dragons could be the tribe that get the most of the mana reduction.
