Storm the Citadel4G
Sorcery (Uncommon)
Until end of turn, creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player or planeswalker, destroy target artifact or enchantment defending player controls." "If we die, we die. But we cannot let him win."

Lapsed DCI Rules Advisor - Retired from playing but still hanging around
Rules question: So for multi-player, I cast/resolve this spell, then attack 3 players, A, B, and C. My creatures connect with players A and B. But C blocks all incoming damage. Can I use the delayed trigger here to blow up 2 of player C's artifacts/enchantments, since it says "defending player controls" instead of "that player controls".

It implies only the player dealt damage is applicable.
Otherwise, it would say "a defending player"

Ah, but player C is also defending, they just didn't take damage.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

Ah, but player C is also defending, they just didn't take damage.
I looked up on Gatherer for other examples of "defending player", and it appears that "defending player" refers to each specific defending player and the creature attacking said player. Especially with Storm the Citadel, because the creature gains that ability; the player that creature is attacking becomes that creature's defending player.
So my creatures A, B, and C under a resolved Storm the Citadel attack their respective players A, B, and C. Player C blocks all damage, and Players A and B are hit by their respective creatures. I get a trigger from creature A to destroy one artifact/enchantment player A controls, and another trigger from creature B to destroy one artifact/enchantment player B controls. Nothing further happens to player C.

Unfortunately the truth my dear Ajani...
What the hell, man? Why would you do this? Seriously, if you've seen novel spoilers, why would you give something like this away here? There are people on these forums who who haven't seen the story leaks yet, myself being one of them, and I've been trying hard to avoid them. This is a spoiler thread for an official card preview, not for ending leaks.

It's frustrating.
It doesn’t
Besides one Leaked card pretty much revealed he’s gonna lose and second if he won the story would be over for good just like as if yawgmoth won
I’m not mention any stuff either
But I will say the manasources preview card is probably gonna be another walker death reveal
(He was talking his thoughts on soul diviner he was talking it’s sad on domri on wrong side but the key is he said “this won’t be the saddest thing you will see this week.”)

Unfortunately the truth my dear Ajani is that basically all survives except the most anonymous and useless ones
Unless you're both the attacker and the defender then there isn't anything to worry about.
