It's not amazing, but a card that gains life with a big butt is and can even ramp is certainly not unplayable in standard. Particularly with mono-red being the scourge of arena standard this could very easily see play.
Given that the political landscape of Ravnica is bound to change (I'm predicting the guilds to bundle into 5 alliances so Ravnica visits won't always need 2+ sets), terramorphic expanse would be kind of poetic here.

Sadly it doesn't fit the name/number crunch, Evolving Wilds however, does. But hopefully we'll get something else instead.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Now I like this card, but goddamn this limited looks rough. I thought all the planeswalkers would mean we’d get pushed Aggro to hold them down, not a ton of big butts and lifegain to enable them

I literally don't think we've ever had this degree of mana fixing within a single set
...I guess that wizards learned from Dragon's maze
And we are still missing the common land, that is likely also a manafixer.
Personally, I like the card. It's not great, but it is a solid limited card for its cost, fairly tough and helps with mana fixing.
