That's one inspiring, lawful good hero wielding one seriously evil, soul-killing sword...
I'm getting a kick out of this dynamic also playing out in the Cosmere, Brandon Sanderson's (the dude who wrote Children of the Nameless) universe, with Szeth and Nightblood. IIRC, Words of Radiance came out long before the Dominaria story, so maybe the end made someone at Wizards think "oh yeah, we have a black, soul-eating blade of our own, huh?" Or maybe, more likely, it's just a fantasy trope to have the lawful good character wield the Soul Eater. Still makes me chuckle.

I just read who previewed this card... now that's a flavor win in and of itself... Give this card to one who is known in the community as one who unifies and is a community builder... Well played Wizards... Well played.

MTG Junky... First packs being a starter of each 4th Edition and Ice Age. Good Grief, I've been playing since 1995? Where does the time go!
