So, Sarkhan's going to be rare then. He's either monored or BR.
Notably, BR already has two rares, and there are only 42-44 multicolored cards. That means each color has 2 uncommons and 2 rares/mythics, plus Bolas, Niv, and maybe 1-2 other odds and ends. It is extremely unlikely that there is another BR rare (and it would also force a backslide in his color identity). If Sarkhan is multicolored, the only possibility at this point is RW (which also doesn't make much sense). By this, we can conclude that Tamiyo must be the remaining multicolored planeswalker at UG (as UW is taken).
Uh, is there for sure a 'remaining multicolored planeswalker'? I was under the impression the five we know (Teferi Sorin Ral Ajani and the not-officiallly-confirmed-yet Domri) were the ones we're getting - which has me thinking Sarkhan mono-red and Tamiyo mono-blue (with Tamiyo's named helper-card nonblue, specifically artifact #244 - or maybe Tamiyo's helper card is multicolored #220)
What the card does itself isn't half-bad but at 5 mana might be slightly overcosted to be competitively playable for me. I find that to be the case with a number of the uncommon planeswalker, though not all. They tend to be a little pushed but not alot of them look too playable in practice beyond functioning as a temporary enchantment that will likely only last for a turn or two. That's not bad when the card is 3 or 4 mana. 5 mana I don't know.
Can I get some clarification as to whether her static ability includes herself? I think it does not, but I'm not 100% certain if "other red source" is just meant to exclude the static ability itself, or to exclude Jaya as a source.

It excludes Jaya as the source. Abilities aren't sources and aren't colored.

Pretty sure that second sentence is wrong. Pretty sure abilities have a source and get a color from that source.

That second sentence is incorrect - a source of damage is any object that can deal damage (a permanent, a spell on the stack, a copy of a spell on the stack, a replacement or prevention effect, a triggered ability, etc.), and its color is the color of whatever object it's associated with. Jaya's static ability will apply to any of these so long as they are red or are abilities or effects of a red spell, permanent, or other object.
Jaya's ability excludes herself because it specifies "if another source..."
Man, really hope they throw a wrench in things and make Sarkhan R and Hybrid U/G Just hate seeing him backslide into mono R after all his development in Khans

Her walker card still slow... why still 5cmc, they could have got away at 4 cmc?
I have the bad feeling they made her walker card slow ass 5cmc... so that people would play Chandra first.

There are two RW rares, too: Feather, the Redeemed and Solar Blaze. But seeing as each red pair has two rares, then yeah, Sarkhan is likely monored and the fifth rare monocolor PW, which means Tamiyo is probably the sixth multicolor and GU. I expect her abilities involve bouncing stuff and checking cards in hand as a nod to Kamigawa's wisdom theme (which Moonfolk supported by having a lot of land-bouncing effects; see Meloku the Clouded Mirror and Uyo, Silent Prophet), not to mention as a way to reuse Simic's Adapt abilities.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Sarkhan never should have been blue tbh

When they added blue to him I just assumed it's because he was permanently given the ability to mess with time except we have Teferi as a planeswalker again and he always had the time manipulation gimmick so...yeah.
Though it would be a cool story moment if the two of them just bore a bunch of eternals to death by chaining extra turns back and forth.

His orignal Dragons of Tarkir card was Jund. But Jund wasn't a thing in standard and for him to have more playability design ask creative to find a wedge pair they felt would work best and they picked Temur. Not really regressive if he shifts among those three colors.

Chandra is the mono red rare
Only multicolor rare don't overlap, monocolor can be multiples as rares by MaRo words. We know Vivien and Nissa are both monoG rare (Vivien aledy spoiled and Nissa leaked)
