Murmuring Mystic is fringe playable so I could see this one being playable in standard. Not sure how useable its actually activated ability would be though.
That's... a lot of potential Servos and loyalty from a 3 mana walker. This could actually fit well into a Bolas's Citadel deck, since it generates a lot of permanents and can act as a 2nd Citadel for an OTK. Probably too janky, but this still seems really strong.
Okay, rules gurus , question. I have Thing in the Ice with a couple counters left. I use the minus to turn a Servo from the previous turn into a copy of it. Do I get a Dark Depth+Thespians Stage deal, where it was already on the field, so it has no counters and automatically flips? What if it is already flipped when I create the copy, is it TitI or Awoken Horror? this just screams to be abused

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Sort of a budget Monastery Mentor? Definitely a powerful static ability, and I could see her in some kind of weird Affinity-ish build (with Opals and Baubles) but without being able to reuse ETB effects, she's definitely not overpowered.
That is a awesome. Definitely going to try this in my Narset Voltron deck. Don’t need Swiftfoot Boots anymore? Why not make it into a Sunforger, or a Sovreigns if Lost Alara? And bonus points she makes blockers that can also be turned into other sweet artifacts. Really cool card.

I don't think it can... legend rule and all. This targets what it tries to copy, so if the original Citadel isn't around anymore when it resolves it'll fizzle, and if it is the legend rule will make one go away before anyone gets priority.

Token won't have a flip side as it only copies the side that's face up. Now copying an awoken horror on the other hand... that's fair game.

MTG Junky... First packs being a starter of each 4th Edition and Ice Age. Good Grief, I've been playing since 1995? Where does the time go!

this is mtgs, where occam's razor is so blunt it can't cut jello any more.
A Young Pyromancer that trades 1 mana and the ability to attack for mana cost flexibility, immunity to creature removal, and a potentially useful ability?

The Servo will become an 0/4 Thing in the Ice with no counters on it. Tokens can't transform (rule 711.1), so whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, the triggered ability will trigger, but nothing will happen when it resolves. (Thing in the Ice doesn't just up and transform as soon as it has no ice counters on it - it only transforms if it has no ice counters on it when the triggered ability resolves. It isn't like Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage.)

Lapsed DCI Rules Advisor - Retired from playing but still hanging around
well you could potentially use her to give "pseudo" haste to a creature (using an artifact alread in play unafected by summoning sickness). Has some potential. Looks good in the decks that alread plays Paradoxical Outcome

1. Thing in the Ice only flips if you cast an instant or sorcery. It doesn't check to see if it has no counters until you do. Even if you remove the counters a different way.
2. Cards that copy a flip creature always stay the way they are currently flipped. The copy would be TitI if the card is TitI or would be Awoken Horror if that side is flipped right now.
Rather than being a budget Mentor, it seems like she would work extremely well WITH mentor (or young pyromancer). Create a token, then copy the mentor using the token, and you're getting 3 tokens per non-creature spell cast for the turn (2 monks, 1 servo), which is absolutely insane.
She is very good with karn, scion of urza because casting him gives you a thopter off the bat which pumps his tokens, next turn you can cast however many noncreature spells to generate more thopters, make another construct with karn, then neg her to turn the first thopter injo a copy of the construct and swing for potentially brutal amounts of damage.
I could see this being a storm payoff card honestly. It's like an empty the warrens that just sits in the battlefield generating advantage for you.
Unsure but maybe modern Phoenix wants this in the side for grindy matches? It's probably a turn 4-5 play but then you just go off and spit out a million blockers for her.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Yeah, there’s a use for this somewhere...
Sure, I can make that work.

But a very demanding & skill-testing card
Or on the other side of the coin, you could user her to pop out a servo, and then make that servo copy something with haste and swing.
Great design too, well usable even outside an artifact heavy set.

Not to forget the new Tezzeret. Those tokens make his +2 a nice finisher.
