i dont get it, why is it not "landfall" ?
why does wizards bother to give old cards a keyword when they had an ability before the keyword was introduced, but print new cards withour existing keywards. just cause its no keyword in the set? no excuse for me. and also just sometimes and not allways e.g. Goblin War Drums gets menace but Grim Flayer doesnt get surveil.
this is kind of frustrating, in the future we will have tournaments and everyone is just checking erata, cause sometimes keywords matter if they cause a trigger

Well for starters Surveil wasn't a thing when Grim Flayer was printed. Secondly Menace is an evergreen keyword ability while Landfall is not. Also that version of Goblin War Drums was printed in a supplemental set. Were Menace not an evergreen ability and had it been printed in a standard set that may not have been the case. Also Landfall is not a keyword ability it is an ability word. In the rules ability words do not have a mechanical function they're just there to give a thematic binding to a group of similar abilities. Thus your concern over errata cannot happen in this case because nothing can reference Landfall. Moreover that is exactly why they don't use one off keywords in sets. So they aren't expected to print things that reference those keywords in the set.
Also keywords lend to the overall sense of theme of a sense. Landfall just doesn't fit Ravnica.
i know that surveil wasnt a thing when grim flayer was printed, but he could get an errata change. and in case of surveil, there are cards that trigger whenever u surveil, so it would matter in his case. he does the same thing as surveil, just that it isnt surveil. and here it is the same, it does the same thing as landfall, but it is not named landfall, if there is a card that cares for it or not. its just inconsequent, that once u sell an ability with a name and once u dont, especially when there is already a name for it.
Using a keyword creates another word players have to process and learn; there's a sense of "you should already know this" to writing a keyword on a card, especially when it doesn't have any other cards in the set or play into the themes. It helps to overwhelm players who aren't familiar with all the past keywords, and besides, it undermines the themes of your set; you want players to focus on the set keywords to give them a sense of what the set is about.
Cards like this are a great compromise between those issues and the desire of enfranchised players to see their favorite keywords return.

Surveil can and is referenced by abilities of other cards cause it is a keyword ability
(ex: Whenever you surveil, etc)
Landfal can’t and isn’t referenced by other card’s abilities cause it is a ability word (it is just there for people to remember that the ability is tied to a theme - in this case a land entering the battlefield)( the only way to interact with it is like making a panharmonicon for lands (if a triggered ability would trigger off a land entering the b...) other wise you are just making more landfall triggers)
Goblin war drums errata “” is bad cause there are things that cares about manace, it creates something similar to when they change a rule and that rule was importantant to many tournaments and matchs win or loses.
Asking for survei 3 to be added to Grim Flayer is bad because it would create the same issue (increase the power level of the card and add complexity to it, cause new players will not know what surveil is) (there are a lot of cards that care if you surveiled )
There is no need to add landfall in the text other than make ppl that care happy and make new people confused about it.
Also in this collection and in guilds there are cards that could have BATTALION- but again it is a ability word that only fits in sets to mechanically unite cards(soo ppl have an idea of what it does just by looking quickly)(also there is one Heroic- card in war aswell) (also azorius mechanic is also a ability word, you can remove the name of it in all cards and they play the same)
I don't play Atraxa EDH, I have never even played against it, but I have a feeling this goes infinite with something in Atraxa, lol
(Un)fortunately not Not that i currently know of at least.
While it is highly synergistic with cards i currently run like Fertllid and Realm Seekers, most +1/+1 counter activations require some other form of cost to activate.

Expanding on this: Training Grounds/Biomancer's Familiar+Pentad Prism+Evolotion Sage+Fertillid/Realm Seekers gets you all your (basic)Lands and that much proliferate triggers.
But... well... you know
Modern: WUBRG Humans - GBW Traverse - GWU Knightfall - GRW Bushwhacker Zoo -
Realm Seekers however, does not work. Those lands go in hand.
