I'm aware. What I'm saying is that it goes against the established naming convention for legendary characters, and is extremely distracting as a result. And frankly, I don't think a minor side character we're likely to never see again is worth it.
And there are probably some that I missed.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

How dare you attempt to bring logic and evidence to contradict their point!
For shame! For Shame!!!
The most ironic part part about this the fact that one of these “non-established naming conventions” exists both within the previous set, as well as the current.
BTW, Massacre Girl is fantastic. Art, ability, flavor. All of it. Home run in my book.
Lol. Nice. Except Massacre Girl only hits creatures and is only 1 turn. Not like Last Laugh. Try again, thanks.
And? The point is, effects like this have existed within Magic for a decade longer than Hearthstone has even existed.
Calling people kids because they reference a card from another game is asinine. Especially since the card referenced has a more similar effect that Last Laugh, is much more used in it's game than Last Laugh ever was, and is much more recent than Last Laugh.
So, how does Massacre Girl's ability work when multiple creatures die at the same time? Say three x/1 tokens die when she enters, triggering the second part of her ability. Would all other creatures get -3/-3 or -1/-1? Asking because I know it could be a point of contention.
My initial guess would be a single trigger..... as it's whenever a creature dies instead of each creature that dies.
I'm sure we'll get the clarification in the Rules update for the set.
Usually, if this was the case, the effect would read: one or more creatures. Since it says a creature, it will create multiple instances.
I think I'm reading it right, Massacre Girl only triggers the whole paragraph of death there when she enters the battlefield and is depending on something dying to the first -1/-1 to trigger additional -1/-1's and additional deaths after that. the second part of getting -1/-1 when something dies is not a static affect, correct? Still, crazy card and as was mentioned you can guarantee and easy kill with Footlight Fiends or similar...I'll have to sift through to see what other creatures have the same power as the Fiend.
It reads the same as way as Cry of the Carnarium which sets up a trigger for the remainder of the turn. So even if a creature dies later in the turn, it will trigger, again.
While I much prefer her depiction in Deviant Glee, at least they didn't have the artist give her like, a mowhawk and an Adam's apple. She's chilling, badass, and really kind of cute, in a crazed, bloody, blight-upon-society kind of way.
Reminds me of the OG Rakdos I miss, before they were all circus freaks and clowns.
To the confused Standard/Modern players in this thread: Tomik seems to specifically target a tier 1 legacy deck known as "Lands" that plays 40+ lands and abuses Life from the Loam, Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage

Also, there has to be a combo w/ her and Heartless Summoning somewhere.
Combo with Shadows of the Past and Gate to the Afterlife.
Burning Sands, ouch after MG Etb.
