The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
So... bolas created 5 trials to gather the best fighter of whole amonkhet.
He turned them into relentless zombie terminators
And a good boros officier can sweep through of them, killing them 2 by 2?
"man, your five trials are nothing compared to an average day in ravnica's slums"

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Tajic refers to her by name, so she might be a really skilled boros soldier.
I was expecting her to be legendary, disappointing.
Years ago. WotC decided to make Hero of Oxid Ridge, and Hero of Bladehold non legendary cards even if those characters are named in the story. Maybe they are doing the same thing again today? Anyway, I'm not sure if Mileva is important to the story.. or just a minor character mentioned in flavor text.
Pretty sure we just learned about mileva in one guilds of ravnica card, and now on the lazotep hippo and this card now. It would be a first time a character with soo little quotes and soo little background story would make into cards (in modern magic) leave the Boros legendary be a character that long time fans have been waiting like feather.
Also the 2 heroes on Mirodin besieged where a big thing in the story, they led Auroks and vulshoks vs the phyrexians. There was a war report website with weekly stories of both mirran and phyrexians. There was more characters and thats probably why they didn’t made a legendary card for each of them.
Next block is Phyrexia invading Theros.

This set has a lot of fierce and strong redheads in it and I love it.

Also I get the sense that Mileva is the woman depicted in the card.
Why not? We’ve had pseudo batallion, pseudo evolve, pseudo monstrosity... all the abilities from rtr-theros standard are coming home!
T2 Tenth District Legionnaire
T3 Brute force/Mutagenic growth > Temur battle rage
Seems strong
