I am also noticing the great things Rakdos is getting, but those are often in Rakdos colors.... This on the other hand.. Is the color pie shifting before our eyes?
Mono-black haste?
Black had prior taken the mantle of lifelink from white
Now black has taken the mantle of haste from red
Black as a color is getting a lot of love and I like it.. my favorite color in Magic retains the mantle of doing all the things the other colors can do.
I am also noticing the great things Rakdos is getting, but those are often in Rakdos colors.... This on the other hand.. Is the color pie shifting before our eyes?

Haste was moved to tertiary black with GRN I think? I think there was an article about it when they covered that haste undergrowth elf card. Sometime around then. I think secondary green?
Black has been tertiary in haste for a while now. off the top of my head, Yahenni, undying partisan is one. there are more.
It's been on black cards forever:
Nether Traitor
Ichorid
Ashen Ghoul
Bloodghast
Akuta, Born of Ash
Nether Shadow
Some of these have conditional haste, but it's been there. Nether Shadow was in Alpha. In fact, in Alpha only one green aura and the Nether Shadow had haste.
