Aww... May be they will have little puffs of steam together.
Now that's what I'd call a fire in the hole if I didn't know any better
Today's spoiler is brought to you by an incredible amount of feels.
I like how this round of art is more bright and vibrant versus what we've been getting to date for this set. I wnder if this is a subtle segue into the second act of the story where events turn in favour of the anti-Bolas contingent, little Weirds notwithstanding.

The bigger versions are so clearly copy/pasted/scaled in a smaller version in each other's cards... Come on.
Really feels off, both perspective and composition.
Well, that comment kinda looks ridiculous when you look closely at the images and realize they aren't copy-pasted. Too many details are different.
Apologies for not being clear, I actually did zoom in and look closely at the images, and yes there are minute little differences, but they are in the overlayed effects, like if it was just a different render of the procedurally generated flame, but still the same underlying model/art exactly, for both. It does feel off to me.
as art? well... i don't think i very much like this artists work. its very... like it captures things, and its done well... but it feels very, generic and plastic.
Aren't weirds supposed to be a combination of two elements? These two both look very mono-elemental to me. For that matter, why aren't Weirds also Elementals? Elemental Weird would work as a type line.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Which is inexplicable considering how many OTHER cards got skipped in order to include these turds?
Why are these in the set? I have no idea. Feels like a complete waste of two common slots.
