Bird is interesting, sort of annoyed by the "Other" when your already paying 6. The other two are solid limited fodder.
Well since you have to tap it for the ability the other thing probably wouldn’t be relevant anyway.
it gaining vigilance some way is already possible in the set, it would also be less text on the card. It can easily be relevant (it would also take it out of 3 toughness range if theres more that care about that.

Of the set so far there are two cards that can give this vigilance. One is a rare, the other a mythic. I’d say that’s fair reason to say, as I did, that it probably won’t be relevant. Not that it can’t come up but that in most cases it won’t.
As an English teacher, I spend my life encouraging high schoolers to go into more depth when analyzing a quote. So here goes my analysis of the quote, with the art as context:
"Where did she come from? More importantly, are there more like her?" - Gideon Jura
As some have already said, this quote could mean two things - a) It's a hint at a future viking plane, or b) the giant is Ravnican, and Gideon just wants more backup like her. We know that on Ravnica most characters we meet are divided amongst guilds, Boros and Azorius being the two guilds that don formal, manufactured armor. We know what Azorius's outfits are typically modest, fully concealing, and have a white/blue motiff. Boros armor, on the other hand, tends to be quite gaudier and usually has white and red prominently displayed either on a tunic, shoulder pads, or elsewhere. The armor of this giant seems to reflect neither of those guilds; the armor seems more leather-based, with less flashy metal (prominent with both guilds), and relying of wood for more shielded protection. Now, she *could* be guildless. We know from Palisade Giant that there are guildless giants roaming Ravnica, where they sleep, no one knows. However, as someone noted above, Gideon has spent considerable time on Ravnica. As a soldier himself, and a planeswalker, we can infer he knows the ins-and-outs of the warrior/soldier classes on this plane. He no doubt is aware that there are guildless giants, since Palisade Giant seems hard to miss, and we've seen giants pop up in art within this very block (see Citywide Bust and Collar the Culprit - also note: we are informed that the giant depicted in this art is a Gruul giant).
Now, given the setting of WAR, we know that planeswalkers and creatures are being plopped into Ravnica constantly through various methods - many creatures spoiled thus far don't originate on Ravnica (We know the Eternals are from Amonkhet). This creates an atmosphere on unpredictability and fluctuation. Anything can happen. In the midst of battle, an unfamiliar giant donning armor not yet seen in Ravnica art joins the fray. Should Gideon have accepted her at face value as a Ravnican citizen, there is little reason why he would question her origins. He'd assume she came from a Boros garrison, an Azorius precinct, a Gruul stomping ground, or from the back alleys of the guildless. But he chooses to stop and question her origins. An unfamiliar giant in unfamiliar garb has just shown up and changed the tide of the current skirmish. Gideon, being a planeswalker, understands the multiplicity of creature types across planes. He asks aloud, Where does this giant originate? Are there more giants like this one? This conveys a sense of both anthropological and tactical interest. Gideon is intrigued by this newcomer.
Now, as we scale our attention back to explore the meta narrative of Wizard's game design, we know that within the last few years WotC has increasingly been dropping easter eggs into their art and flavor text. We are aware that with future sets, new planes are being introduced. We are aware of rumors of a Viking/Norse plane in the future. While I do run a risk of misinformed extrapolation, I am willing to go out on a limb and say that this giant's unique armor does reflect the technological limitations of the Vikings. We know they had access to metallurgy, they were able to construct chainmail, yet their shields were wooden and metal armor was expensive, worn only by a higher class. Leather as a Viking armor is actually unfounded in archaeology, but it's a common trope of fantasy.
Keeping with the meta-narrative and past WotC patterns, we can infer that the designers and writers of this set were purposeful in the wording on this giant's flavor text. They could have added *any* comment from Gideon to this card, yet they chose two focus points - Unknown Origin and Promise of More. We know that after Core 2020 there will be a new plane. We know that Wizards likes to hint at new planes through flavor text and card art. Factoring the elements of this analysis together, I'm confident in saying this Giant is not Ravnican, and she is, in fact, from an unknown plane that we will be visiting within the next year or two.

Really? That's your conclusion? And you're an English teacher?
It's an action movie cliche. Your analysis is as ridiculous as if a piece of flavor text quoted Chandra as saying "Danger is my middle name!" and you took that to mean her name was literally Chandra Danger Nalaar.

As someone who knows someone who gave their child the middle name Danger I don’t find that ridiculous at all.

To be fair, the conclusion drawn would probably be something more like "this line is foreshadowing Chandra being in danger. Perhaps even grave danger"

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
