Wow nice. I must say i think the names are kinda lame but love to see a old face, makes me remember the times kitchen playing with just bought theme decks, good times
They work well together, and yes, I do intend to put them in the same deck, now all we need is a Naya (RGW) colored legend that cares about wolves, and the dream Wolf commander deck is within reach.
It's a good card, I like.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
What's strange is the wording "You may have it fight up to one target creature". Any ideas?
So your wolves don’t have to auto fight creature that will kill them.
I knew someone will say it. And you are wrong. The "You may have" wording already makes this redundant. If you don’t want, you don't force it to fight. But now you have the choice between no fighting, fighting zero creatures or one creature.
And this is the card you want to play with Arlinn. I like how much better Wizards gotten with making second/third version of legends that makes it feel like they are the same person.
At first I was wondering how they are alive, but I remembered Ravnicans are very long living and Nissa is in her 60's so magic elves are pretty long living anyways.

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"

Still a bit redundant, "it fights up to one creature" or "you may have it fight a creature" would have it covered.
Thing is with that wording you can decide to fight a creature, and if your opponent casts giant growth on his, just say "Nevermind, not fighting" and you will save your wolf.
You choose whether or not you're actually fighting as the ability resolves, while you choose the target as you put the ability on the stack. Overall it does add a layer of possibilities.

In a world where they change proliferate's funstionality to save some clicks in digital you'd expect them to do the same here. Maybe they are just a little reluctant to fully phase out the "you may" in their transition to a new wording for optional abilities.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Hmm nice card, but havin a 3/3 only go fight ? I guess this card needs a tribal deck.
I liked Tolsimir's picture then much better, though this Voja is a damn pretty wolf !
Still a bit redundant, "it fights up to one creature" or "you may have it fight a creature" would have it covered.
Not really. With "it fights up to one target creature," you can announce one target or zero targets, and then fight upon resolution. With "you may have it fight target creature," you choose a target upon placing the trigger on the stack, and choose whether or not you fight upon resolution.
So if Voja were to pick a fight with a 2/2, and your opponent casts Giant Growth in response, the first instance would force you to fight the now-5/5 creature and lose Voja for no value.
In all honesty, the "you may have it fight up to one" wording might be there to minimize the chances of online players misclicking and accidentally fighting something that they don't want to fight.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Still a bit redundant, "it fights up to one creature" or "you may have it fight a creature" would have it covered.
No, it targets the creature. So if it were "you may have it fight target creature an opponent controls", and there was no legal target at announcement, the trigger would be removed from the stack and you wouldn't gain 3 life.
Similarly, if you choose a target and it's illegal at resolution, the entire trigger is countered and, again, you don't gain life.
EDIT: It's also hilarious that Voja's title is "Friend to Elves."
