MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
This is basically Judith, the Scourge Diva on some serious steroids, with "tromple" instead of Judith's +1/+0 ability, and a way better payoff when it dies. This goes into basically every Rakdos deck and will be where your +1/+1 counters go.

Also Fireblade Artist is gonna love the 1/1 first striker for R that leaves another behind when it dies, I hope Rakdos becomes a thing after WAR hits, I just love the idea of a Rakdos aggro deck, mix the speed and fun of mono-R aggro with some creature kill and hand disruption and bam! instant party.
Thud being a sorcery hurts this plan a lot, but I'm sure someone will get wrecked by it, on the other hand, the instant-speed sac-and-Flame Javelin card sounds like an amazing complement to Rakdos decks, it can still turn the Butcher into a fearsome projectile to your face, and unlike Thud, it can also Fling any little dork for massive damage, I wouldn't be surprised if Rakdos becomes the go-to aggro deck when WAR enters the game, yeah, I'm pumped for this card.
