Yay doggy! Sweet that be combos with Yanggu nicely. The natural vigilance means you can attack and tap for mana.

you put 2 extra counters every time one or more counters would be placed, but they don't "trigger" out of each other.
614.5. A replacement effect doesn't invoke itself repeatedly; it gets only one opportunity to affect an event or any modified events that may replace it.
Example: A player controls two permanents, each with an ability that reads "If a creature you control would deal damage to a permanent or player, it deals double that damage to that permanent or player instead." A creature that normally deals 2 damage will deal 8 damage-not just 4, and not an infinite amount.
I'm curious to hear you elaboration on the two for Atraxa in the context of others.
Regarding the dog. I can obviously see why! This is a card which can serve as a combat win-con in the right deck. The vigilance and trample make it a serious threat when it grows big.
Both are pretty good cards for sure, and I also like the humanoid mutant proliferator for the same reasons. But, what would you cut for it/them? These are the type of cards where i always need to evaluate different scenario's in which they are played and if they are better than other options occupying the same slot.

Not much to elaborate on really, they're just solid counter synergy cards for a casual deck.
My commander decks aren't top tier power decks, I just use cards I like and find fun to play and I think these two cards look fun. I'll swap stuff around from time to time so I also like having different options to play around with.
How many tails does he really have? Does he get an extra one for each +1/+1 counter he gets? That needs to be a thing!
He has three when he's in his "Mowu means business" form and just one when he's in "happy li'l doggo" form (as pictured on this card and on the original Jiang Yanggu, as well as the front face of the double-sided Mowu token).

I do get a little spiky at times when evaluating role players but i can honestly say i don't have any top tier competitive decks and all are fun to play
I guess Atraxa +1/+1 is powerful, but the fairest version of the deck by a mile.

Legendary Creature - Hound (U)
-Vigilance, Trample
If one or more +1/+1 counters would be put on Mowu, Loyal Companion, put that many plus one +1/+1 counters on it instead.

Mowu just does that. It's his thing - he has the power to go from "happy pupper" to "angry swole dog" at will.
