The double haste looks odd but it means the creature still has haste if you use her - and lose all counters on her.
Her spell looks like the Amonkhet gods are indeed going to be back undead.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Flavor win if the Gods are named “The Jackal God” , “The Cat God” etc.
Poor Samut. I still feel bad for Amonket and its entire miserable existence.
Wait.. Samut’s spell is his loyalty ability? Wow, that’s creative.
Hazaret didn't die though so no Jackal God. She's still on Amonkhet trying to lead the survivors to a new life.
Anyway, I'm noticing a lot of these walkers have inelegant designs. I'm getting the feeling that there's going to be some major "lessons learned" revolving around this set when all is said and done. I appreciate what they are trying to do here, making uncommon walkers let's walkers be a thing in limited, and I like how these no + walkers function in a very spikey way. They have abilities from some strong enchantments, like fires, underworld dreams, etc, but they are vulnerable, and their minus abilities make them even more vulnerable while providing additional value. There will be good gameplay here, but I worry that taking such a Timmy card type and going so hard spike with the designs is going to cause a lot of feel bads for people who want to play with their favorite walkers but don't know how to maximize the value from these tricky cards.

The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
Double haste is so that it works cutely with riot creatures maybe?
Actually nvm that doesn’t make sense either
Nope. Riot is an instance of either haste or a +1/+1 counter. Having one or more instances of haste already just means you'll pick the counter nearly every time.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I’m just amused by Samut’s spell doing the exact same thing as her PW card.
I kind of like that, I wish more planeswalkers had spell versions of their abilities

I think the most jarring thing is seeing a PW that's so... simple.
