That flavor text is awful. Card might be alright in limited, but considering that we probably won't be getting wolves or werewolves in this set (aside ffrom the one spoiled here) ... I dunno.
I guess 6 mana to make three 3/3s over three turns isn't so bad?
More importantly wasn't she supposed to be stuck in WOLF form on other planes not human?
She can actually control the transformation - it was only when she first planeswalked that she was stuck in wolf form, but with her human mind.
"To her horror, she regained her senses in the morning—but not her human form. For better or worse, the experience of retaining her human mind in wolf form gave her a new appreciation for the wild spirit that shared her body. The only way she could return to her human form was to planeswalk back to Innistrad, but now she finds that she can control the transformation, in both directions, with relative ease."
As an aside, the flavor text on Arlinn's Wolf is perfection.

I guess if the other spoiled cards are real wizards will enter in damage control mode (or we will only get old spoilers :(, but maybe with story of the war )
Is it actually a nice uncommon for limited, though?
it seems worse than just picking a common like colossal dreadmaw. Would you rather have a 6/6 trample body up front, or 3x 3/3 bodies over 3 turns that might only be a single 3/3 when your opponent swings into the walker.
So she goes from looking like a woman in, perhaps, her early to mid-40's, to Sansa Stark? Remember when Gideon Jura was a grizzled white dude and not a Greek beefcake? Or when Nissa Revane was an elf supremacist who could've been an awesome villain in Zendikar 3: Race War, and not a hippie tree-hugger?
Wolf mom! I'm also not happy with her aged down look, I normally don't mind characters looking differnt between cards cause of artists but I really liked the idea of an older Innistrad person being a werewolf since it would make sense that not many normal humans would live to a ripe old age.
Not sure if i will run her though, 6 mana is a bit high for the deck I run. Since wolves are found on Ravnica (and semi famous with Watch wolf) I could see a few other wolves in the set.
Interesting she didn't bring her red side this time.

The flavour text is awful. Gone are the days of flavour texts with subtle or metaphorical meanings. Flavour texts these days feel like those movies that spell out what's going on through narration rather than through acting.

Honestly I didn't even notice she was supposed to look 'older' until now. Was it deliberate art direction or the artist?

Just look at the flavortext on Paradise Druid, it's downright foul.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Nice card overall (for a uncommon walker).

Also, this Arlinn looks way too young. She's supposed to be wolf mom not teen mom.

Don't like that they aged her down.
"Arlinn's Wolf" sounds like a placeholder name that they forgot to change.

Three 3/3 in 3 turns for 6 mana.. isn't bad at all.
