Jace might see liliana turning the eternals against bolas and to him that might be the signal to restore Vraskas memory
And despite the sabotage niv Mizzet May have became the guildpact regardless and I think while liliana has the zombies attack and the guilds and the surviving walkers Gideon niv-Mizzet and ugin will get to bolas and use the Blackblade to kill him once and for all
Look folks, like the song all you want and don't feel bad about it, just like I won't feel bad for disliking it. It's fine. Everything's fine. I just think there were better choices with more subtlety, more depth, and better lyrical connections to the story being depicted. If they were dead set on a genre of "slow, breathy cover songs," there's a laundry list of better choices.

I think this was a fairly well done trailer. It's also clearly striking a chord, it's already over 4 million views in under a day and their trailers rarely (if ever) break 1 million over months and years, so I'd say it's been effective.
I think that if Liliana was actually going to die, then they wouldn't have so strongly suggested she was going to die in the trailer, as that would spoil the surprise.
I mean, the Dark Phoenix trailer straight up shows that Mystique dies. Quarantine's freaking poster is the final shot of the film. Trailers spoiling stuff is far from new.
I'd say Liliana... there's a high chance that she'll die. Not entirely sure if Gideon could get to Bolas and drive Blackblade into killing Bolas.
The trailer doesn't answer the question to how the other Walkers will interact and their role in War of the Spark and hopefully will be answered as the days/weeks lead up to release and other stories to tie up the lore. The trailer DOES answer my theory that Bolas is clearly going to "Kill" Walkers and gain their spark so he can regain his "lost" Godhood that he wants back
The main thing that bothers me about this trailer is how utterly awesome and bestial Bolas looks, more so than in any other representation. Like, that shouldn't be a problem, but now even the new Bolas art from Swanland (up on the main website) doesn't do it for me. Swanland always did my favorite Bolas art (slick, serpentine, and shiny) but now after seeing Dragon/Minotaur/Balrog Bolas in this trailer, I never want to see Bolas any other way.
I enjoyed the linkin park cover for the video and thought it fit quite nicely with liliana's story arc, well done wotc!!
How does it fit with her Story Arc?
The lyrics.
Liliana tried so hard and got so far but in the end, it didn't even matter. She had to fall, to lose it all but in the end, it didn't even matter.
Yeah, basically this, regarding her story. I mean, yes, Liliana's situation is wholly her own fault, or at least a very Vorkosigan story path, but that doesn't mean the lyrics don't apply.
She tried so hard (to live her life her way), she got so far(contract with demons to get her youth, screw them out of the deal using the Chain Veil, deal with the Chain Veil...), but in the end, it didn't even matter (Bolas controls her). She had to fall--that is, realize that she's been a patsy the whole time--to lose it all (and to her, that's losing her freedom), but in the end, it didn't even matter.
Except, of course, by putting her in position of the army that Bolas absolutely needs to carry out his plan.
The Hero / Villain weaknesses are perfectly summed up in Return of the Jedi:
Hero to Villain: Your overconfidence is your weakness.
Villain to Hero: Your faith in your friends is yours.
Using Liliana to control the Dreadhorde, while necessary, also tweaks the noses of the Gatewatch that their faith in Liliana was misplaced. But Bolas is confident that she won't turn on him, because he perfectly understands her fear of death. He is overconfident that that will control her... and is proven wrong.
If Liliana dies, she dies her own person. And in the end, that's all that really matters (to her).

Amazing, yet disappointing. Because that's all we get - I would have preferred to see a cinematic conclusion, like the last 10 minutes of a movie, with the story resolution, instead of a trailer.
You already forgot something. Teferi can warp time so if he’s there he can probably reverse the desintergration
I'm not sure time reversal is within Teferi's power. It's right up his alley for sure, but we've never seen him pull it off. Karn could time travel in the past, but we were clearly told he is no longer capable of that.
I actually think the only planeswalker who could possible do that is Ugin. If he could subconsciously send Sarkhan on a journey through time, he might be able to do something about Liliana as well. Well, fingers crossed.

Not gonna lie, got a little emotional over this trailer. At 2:07 when she's gesturing before turning back to face Bolas, the Oath symbol appears on her hand. She's there, reaffirming her Oath to Jace, the Gatewatch, and pretty much everyone else in the multiverse to be a guardian.
Bolas had shown that Gideon's aegis mean nothing for him. The question is can the eternal break the aegis? I don't think so. If Gideon dies than because bolas attacked him. It seems like he has to stand on the building canalizing that spell he is using for absorbing/luring the souls/sparks.
Liliana needs to be saved by someone to survive the situation. I don't think she can handle it by herself.

In short, they were now never born in the first place." —Teferi
So if the eternals were never born, they never completed the trials, they never died, they were never eternalized, the invasion never happened....? Sounds like a bad resolution..

That roar at the end. Wow.
Yeah, Bolas looked cool. I'm glad they made him look like that and not more of the frog face he's had lately. Bolas looked awesome in the trailer.
I was a little sad that the humans in the trailer had some wonky animation and faces looked a bit weird. I really didn't like the music choice either, but I just don't like cover songs done in that style hehe.
It was a cool trailer though. I'm hype.

Yes, this particular card's flavor text has me seriously worried. It sounds terribly overpowered, on par with Aminatou's ability to change other people's fate on a whim. I mean, if Teferi truly has this power, he can do, like, anything. For example, if he did the same thing to Rashmi, the Planar Bridge wouldn't exist and Bolas and Tezzeret would have no way of getting the Dreadhorde out of Amonkhet.
