It was on the twitch stream, but I can't find the link right now.
To summarize it:
1) It took him 9 months to write the book.
2) The book will have 12 POVs and almost 100 named characters.
3) We will see all 10 guilds in the book. Some will be more fleshed out, some less.
4) Teyo Verada will be one of the main characters. As a novice planeswalker, he will serve the purpose of a plot device to explain things from his point of view.
5) Another female character whose name sounds similar to "Rat" will have a connection to Teyo. We will know more about her very soon, maybe this weekend.
6) Davriel Cane will work together with "Wanderer" (whoever it is). Also expect the alliance between Karn, Ob Nixilis and Dack Fayden. And more weird alliances.
7) Chandra will survive since her comic takes place after the War.
8) Not all characters are as lucky as Chandra.

Gah, Dack would steal all the Legacy if he lived back in the days!
Added some fixes: people reminded me about Davriel Cane+Wanderer, also he said "not all characters will survive", not "planeswalkers" (just to clarify it).
Am I the only one who finds it a bit annoying that the Chandra comic takes place after the war? Kinda like there's already a trailer out for a new spiderman movie taking place after End Game. other than it already spoiling the outcome, it kinda diminishes some of the stakes and build up knowing at least some of who survive.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
6) Davriel Cane will work together with "Wanderer" (whoever it is). Also expect the alliance between Karn, Ob Nixilis and Dack Fayden. And more weird alliances.
wtf? How do this make sense?
Some kind of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" scenario.
After recently regaining his spark I doubt Ob would like Bolas to strip it out of him and Dack is kind of a wildcard... He might be wanting to acquire some artifacts made by Karn or... Steal Karn himself?

Far From Home takes place one year before Infinity War.
We know this because Homecoming takes place a few months after Civil War, which occurred in 2016 in-universe. Each Spider-Man movie follows a different year of Peter's high school life, starting with sophomore year in 2016 and finishing shortly before Infinity War with his senior year in 2018.
Therefore, Far From Home takes place in 2017.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Still, doesn't Ob Nixilis have a huge hate-boner against the Gatewatch? I find it weird that he would do anything that even remotely aligns with their goals.
The choice is pretty much between lending a hand to your enemies to save yourself from a more powerful foe (and may be backstab them later) or die.
That's a pretty easy choice to make.

In this case Bolas is the bigger threat. He can play nice first and be mean after.
Maybe the "Wanderer" is the unnamed Hat-lady? the name sounds mysterious enough to match an art that shows no face of the character it represent.

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again"
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." That's what I get out of the wonky alliances possibility(ies) listed under point 6.
This is interesting just based on the wording. "Some characters aren't as lucky as Chandra." Great...who? How much of the perennial cast can we expect to have their ends handed to them?
For the book, I hope that it actually has a matching relevance to the set and vice versa. I know it's a bit outdated (i.e almost 20 years ago) but the Nemesis book was very far off from the set. There was no mention of the Parallax in it at all, among other things.
I'm still excited for a hard copy of the story versus digital. That's a cool change they've brought on.

The outcome is rather obvious to begin with. Bolas will not win. There wasn’t a chance in hell of that. Nor was “he loses but every planeswalker dies” a likely outcome either. Some people live, but there are plenty that could die. Most of my favorite characters are here, and I’m concerned about if they’ll live or die because they aren’t as big as the Gatewatch. So there is tension on this matter.

There are 36 Planeswalkers in this set. We know that two of them for sure survive. So you still have 34 others that could die, not to mention untold numbers of non-planeswalkers.
Beyond that, we already know Bolas will lose. This is his ultimate story and he cannot win. The good guys will be victorious, thus saving Ravnica and the greater multiverse. The mystery is this - when Bolas' final plan is revealed and he stands on the cusp of ultimate victory - on which side will the planeswalkers stand? Will they be for Bolas or for the Gatewatch? Which planeswalkers will die and which will survive? For those who survive, what must they sacrifice in order to to defeat Bolas?
I like to see which Planeswalkers will team up. I think Karn, Dack and Ob might want to do something with the Immortal Sun? Seems like it makes somes sense. I would love to see Ugin to work with Sorin and Nahiri again.
When I recall correctly, Maro said once, that there was a lack of mono Green Planeswalkers (since Garruk is GB now), so they created Vivian. So I basically don't expect them to get rid of most mono colored ones, especially the ones, which have different things going on. I can't really see them getting rid of one of the Face Walkers either, except Gideon (the new one seems white and I fully expect Elspeth to be mono White again, too), but he has some kind of is own style going on. I expect to see some of the older walkers not getting out of it like Jaya, Teferi and maybe even Ugin, Sorin and Nahiri, though they seem likely to be unique enough. Most Planeswalkers have something going on, which could easily be explored later, so maybe they will keep those more likely than others. Since we got most Planeswalkers in RG and UW, I fully expect to at least see one of them biting the dust as well as some of the ones, that aren't very popular or not that much explored like Angrath, but I think we will have at least one of every color combination surviving. And I am really looking forward, which one has the most target on himself from Bolas point of view. I fully expect most Planeswalkers and Guild to team up against him, even those we are not expecting yet.
Sorry, I didn't know the new Spiderman movie takes place before End Game. My bad hehe.
And yeah, Bolas obviously won't win, and we've only seen two living planeswalkers in the Chandra comic. It's just me who hates knowing stuff in advance hehe. Especially when it's something I'm interested in. All I need is just a teaser trailer or teaser poster and then that's it (at least in terms of story stuff)
I just don't like spoilers hehe.
