Well, here's mtggoldfish's newest against the odds card lol

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
7 mana might just be worth for it for the "you're at 4" effect. Makes your opponent squirm the next turn and scramble to remove it. It's a solid wincon card.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Oof counter it with a fractured identity for maximum lol. assuming you were the target.
I don't think that works, since all players create a copy of it, those players will then get to choose new targets. Its even possible for a person to get multiple of these as a result. It'll be great just for the Chaos though.

Yes, Captive Audience is a replacement effect (like Xancha) so Fractured Identity would allow each opponent to make a copy and then each of those opponents would (in active player order) get to choose one of their opponents to gain control of that copy. This could result in one player having multiple copies of Captive Audience.
Oh joy... lol... as The Joker would put it, where does he get such wonderful toys? This is brutal and nasty... especially if you keep bouncing it every 4th turn after it is cast. This will turn around any game in limited to your advantage.
Just why would you need HO? The enchantment as it build in and if you talk about the one receiving the gift well how much non-danate deck do you run with HO?

I’m kinda glad it costs so much considering how completely it cripples its target.

Yeah, this is a very hard three turns to overcome.
Like really is has a lot of additional wording instead of just being a Curse.
I thought the same thing,
but if it were a curse, it would need extra words to allow the person it’s cursing to choose between the effects.
They may also want it to be a little easier to get rid of.

Who knows? *shrug* Maybe I just feel like putting it in a deck from time to time.
You could easily swap out guilds names over their heads
