But Mirror March does nothing on its own, half the time (you lose the first flip). Adding Krark's Thumb makes that a quarter of the time. Either way your 'infinite loop' won't loop long.
This has no room for flavor text but I am pretty sure it was "Get in here nerd, we're going into battle" during the development.
Actually, considering it's R&D... it could have been "Get in the battlement, nerd, we're gonna try to bring banding back."
That being said, this is like Addendum (when it was in Time Spiral, that is)... I could see being a mechanic in the future. Maybe we'll finally get our actual mounting mechanic that isn't compulsory (and narrow) like Champion nor as awkward as Vehicles (okay it wasn't that bad, but some game interactions do make it seem awkward from several directions).
I hope this becomes a standard deck with Mirror Image. Infinite ETBS on turn 6 (or earlier with ramp).
You can play with Arcades and a bunch of walls to basically draw your deck.
Honestly... not sure which colors would work best for a combo like this, and it is not very fast, but it's a combo.
GRuw combo? you use Nikya and Goreclaw to get around the huge mana cost and to colorfix/ramp. it... could be hilarious actually
Furthermore, you only need 2 of these or one of these and a Mirror Image to get infinite ETB triggers. I dont know why people are saying 3... with two you would just infinitely flicker the creatures xD.

Well, it does work, if you can get around the insane mana requirement... And now I am tempted to actually try to pull it off.
Bonus points if you have enough cheap stuff that you can exile everything into the token, Thud, exile everything into the non-token (as it enters from exile), Thud, and win...in one turn.
I came here to post about thud. At 6 mana that's potentially a win if you have enough junk to eat. Maybe mardu with the indestructible dudes around and gutterbones? Make your team super sticky and then just thud 'em out.

Do I even need to mention karmic guide can cause a infinite with this if you got a freebie sac engine on the field

How is this going infinite with Mirror Image? One comes in an exiles the other one and any other creatures but what are you doing to go infinite.
He would need 2 mirror image and make it like a oblivion ring loop.
I assume the idea is that on turn 6 you have enough mana to cast two Mirror Images.
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
