Sure, it's a 5/4 flier for 3W, but considering the critical situations people use the effect for, I'd say outside of Standard (which has no choice anyway), the split second is so much more important (also, this doesn't cover other game loss conditions), although I guess EDH wouldn't hurt for redundancy considering its restrictions...

Reminds me of exquisite Archangel. Just quite better though. Can turn things around quickly & guarantees to safe you. Surprise-blocker + finisher-roles covered too.
I just don't think her activated ability will ever save you.
I'll keep an eye out on her

Not bad at all. Less expensive than Exquisite Archangel and I even like the art better on this one.

That's a mythic. Saves your butt twice. Flash means this will probably make the cut in UW control.

I agree. Sheesh. I like the reflection back to older cards as well. It's a nice touch of flavor.

Pretty beefy size and stats to ensure it will be useful in standard.

If you ever get to simply reset your life to 10 , that alone can be enough for a control deck to take over.

It does compete with Lyra and other crazy pushed white 5 drops , but flash is something that could justify its inclusion.

This thing is brutal, flash means it's going to eat a threat, and gaining 10 is worth a card against a lot of decks, this could easily be a 3-1. It's probably better than lyra right now because it has flash, which means you don't lose a lot of tempo to ravenous Chupacabra (although it's still bad against chups).

Forget the other abilities, it's an aggressively costed 5/4 flyer with flash. That's playable by itself. The other abilities will have their uses but this is a solid card.

Now that's a mythic angel. Your opponent is in for a grind when you have this around.

Huh so she can flash in, save you and eat a threat. She can potentially trade with something juicy and then gain you 9ish life.

Wow, I read the thread title and was sure this would be a reprint of some uncommon limited-only angel I had seen a hundred times before but couldn't quite recall the full card... guess I was wrong

First playable creature card for me in my UW deck. Yay.

I'm down with this angel! Not amazing but pretty cool.

This is awesome. Love it. And the art is lovely. Guild-less angels look better than Orzhov and Boros angels, imo.

I guess i want this for my Esper Flash deck in modern. Pretty stacked creature.

will see standard play, it's interesting enough to play on kitchen table, is a limited bomb....

Huh I guess Banefire is no longer an automatic win against control decks.
