Ironically i can see this not being used AGAINST control but being used BY control...
Control decks tend to be pretty good about keeping a hand full of cards, so use this after aggro goes ham and is down to 1 or 2 cards in hand and you wipe the board... clear the board, drop this, make an army, swing for the kill.

The problem with that is Experimental Frenzy. If you, the control player, weren't able to counter the enchantment and you haven't been able to remove it then using this card hurts only you.
If you were able to deal with it, though--Demystify--then yes, I can see it being beneficial after one wrath or another.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
