There's gonna be something strangely startling about opening a booster and then this extreme close-up of a very angry face just shows up as you look through the cards.

Just be glad Scott Murphy, who makes naturalistic faces, did it, and not... *shudder* Jeff Miracola.
At first I thouhg this was a functional reprint of Trumpet Blast. Was there ever a situation in Limited where you wanted to buff your opponent's attackers? The wording being changed is probably an Arena thing, not an IQ thing (I know being cynical is fun, but still).

Imagine what it would look like in foil. Those eyes...

They dumbed it down for low IQ people that couldn't read cards. IE Trumpet Blast.
Except its strictly better than Trumpet Blast in 1v1 because you can use this when blocking to kill attackers with weenies.
I took the changes to mean this card would be much more narrower in EDH. I used Trumpet Blast once, maybe twice, to buff someone else's creatures to ensure another opponent's creatures are cleared.
I can see it being easier to code for in Arena. I've had to play around stupid timing issues (such as not letting me block with a creature I just flashed in). A bit of a travesty IMHO.

I can understand the hesitation on wanting to give Red a defensive combat trick (that isn't just a damage spell).
Except its strictly better than Trumpet Blast in 1v1 because you can use this when blocking to kill attackers with weenies.
Most likely, the wording was changed for Arena. This card is easier to code than Trumpet Blast, since it will never work for your opponent.
I took the changes to mean this card would be much more narrower in EDH. I used Trumpet Blast once, maybe twice, to buff someone else's creatures to ensure another opponent's creatures are cleared.
