Silhana Wayfinder 1G Creature - Elf Scout When Silhana Wayfinder enters the battlefield, look at the top 4 cards of your library. You may reveal a creature or land card and put it on top of your library. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
Decent card. Helps fix you hit your third land drop if you don't have it already, or when you no longer want lands it ensures your next draw is a creature.
Merfolk Branchwalker feels stronger than this one. Albeit, it's a good substitute down the road once the older sets rotate.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

I think they are very close in power level. Late game digging for threats, Wayfinder is going to be much stronger because of the ability to look 4 cards ahead.
If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
yah dont really see this being better than merfolk especially in the explore package decks. when branchwalker rotates though I could see this getting alot of play
IMHO this card would have been more palatable if it was unwanted-cards-to-grave. Which likely would have made them print it in guilds as an Undergrowth enabler. I mean that’s kinda sorta the direction Glowspore Shaman went.
If they are going to keep on going these scry and pseudo-scry effects is like to see them explore the design space of ‘bottom of library’ more. I love Grenzo and Cellar Door, and hope there could be some real payoffs for these effects like there can be for graveyard.
With the new Domri and the Rakdos enchantment, we are going to be getting a Jund deck with A LOT of deck digging power... he may just be the 2 slot card for Jund Midrange...

This aint your girlfriends meta! This is a man's meta! TURBO META.
Decent if you're mana screwed in limited but otherwise leaving the land on top is kind of painful.
It's a may.
It can leave a creature.
So you should ideally have three options here:
Leave a land on top
Leave a creature on top
Put all the cards on the bottom of your library and be drawing a mystery card next turn, but you probably rather a mystery card than all the creatures and lands you rejected because you didn't want them there and would have been your next few draws if you hadn't had this option.
These are only bad in a deck full on noncreatures that you'll regret having to put on bottom of library. But if you're playing this card in a deck like that, you're doing it wrong.
So I think it's good when you're digging for a finisher or specific creature answer (chupa) because it essentially gets you 5 cards deep to set up a turn. The issue is that it's just slight card quality on a mediocre body. I don't get why the card in hand is worth 2 cmc AND another color in sumala woodshaper. Especially when enchantments are usually way less plentiful in limited and even constructed tbh.
Not sure I like these super weak elves providing paltry card quality/advantage. Woodshaper, this, elvish rejuvenator, glowspore shaman. This feels like they're going to wheel late in limited with zero impact on ANY constructed scene outside of like brawl...maybe?
This guy can find creatures or land but they go on the top of your deck. This is good and bad.
He will see play in Limited.
Not a big fan of the "top of the deck" thing either. On one hand, it allows you mill it away. On the other hand, it allows your opponent to do the same. Not like Mill decks are popular, but when they pop up the Ux version is one heck of a clock to race against.

Except this card lets you find creatures too... which is important for GRx
