seeing all those rares downshifted i almost wished they had made them commons soo pauper players could get some more power (maybe they could do it in a mtgo masters set for some of those)(this way the greed can be happy and the players more than just happy)
I've been getting into Pauper and I'm STOKED for some of these downgrades.

Living Lore at uncommon makes Treasure Cruise's inclusion make more sense. Something you can plan for in limited - play a Treasure Cruise at around 4-5 lands with a bit of delve assistance... then play a Living Lore as an 8/8 creature... that you can eventually cash in for another Cruise if you'd like.
Wow, they really did the counters thing again for green and white? I don't mind seeing it once in a while, but they have been going nuts on the counter boost since Kaladesh and they did a horrible job on the -1 counter mechanics. Experience counters would have been nice for limited.

Wait, wut? An ability that exists on five opposing-color-pair cards, all marked mythic, designed to be used as commanders, and was never designed for any limited environment of any sort... would have been 'nice for limited'?
Man, I'm so confused. Lab Man at uncommon, but Talrand at rare? That seems like such a strange decision to me. I mean, I'm not one to complain about downshifts, but if there's any effect that seems like it deserves the rare slot, you would imagine it being the card with an alternate win condition.
