The thing I can't figure out: They have THIS in the set, but they picked Tasigur for the box topper. Why? Just why?
To be fair, Tasigur sees a lot of play in the game's most popular competitive format, and, despite the improvement, monetary value clearly was not the end-all-be-all for every choice made in the set.
I've been wanting a reprint of this card for years, and was hoping it would have new art. Turned out with amazing Terese Neilsen art. Very much pleased here, this is great!
I mean not like today also brought us Altar and Tower and Halo and Dust...
Runed Halo is worth less than a booster pack.
Phyrexian Altar will net you 10 USD. Until the price drops when demand stays the same but the supply increases.
All Is Dust is worth less than a booster pack.
I think the comparison point for this set is Eternal Masters. It may take 2 years, but a lot of the cards in this set will rebound to be worth what they were before release, or even more.

Considering “nobody is buying this garbage set”, this will prove to be true.
All of the Alt. Art prints will retain value after initial release, and more than likely end up higher priced than their OG counterparts.
