Angler is great. Not much point of Treasure Cruise.

Why would they print TC? It's like printing an ante card. It's not even that good in draft
I doubt this will be a draft format. There might be a dredge sub-theme which makes these cards gas up. They are both up there in power level, which makes them "Ultimate" level, I guess.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.

Ultimate Masters is a limited format, it's draftable.
Hmm, Treasure Cruise and probably Dig Through Time on the box art...maybe they want to unban them somewhere?
No, these cards were way too powerful in the formats where they were banned. I think the sales pitch is "remember these cards that were to obscenely powerful to be legal? draft this set so you can play with them ;)"

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.

It's surely playable in draft. It's a good card in one of the mechanics that they're focusing on this set. A set in which they're printing Delve cards - will touch all the good Delve cards, because they sure as hell won't get touched in sets that don't do Delve. You might as well write Become Immense in the crunch in pen.
It is not worth your breath to complain about the existence of a common that you can't use in most competitive constructed formats. Bulletin: most of the commons in this set, for one reason or another, won't be relevant in competitive constructed formats. They're not printing the set as "all the constructed playables to ensure nobody can complain when any of their commons fail to get into top 8 modern or vintage decks".
I think it's a little early to rule out G getting some delve love too. Hooting Mandrills and Become Immense would be nice. And Tasigur works just fine in a BG deck.

lol where? There isnt a format outside Standard, or Limited, that can handle their power level.

Tombstalker could easily be uncommon. It's Gurmag Angler plus one more B to gain flying.
