Seems brutal when coupled with Guttersnipe. While the Snipe deals more damage, this holds the ground far better and with a cheaper CMC, and both curve pretty well.
I'm inclined to say "Constructed playable". Counterburn could brew with this.
Oh wow, thats pretty sweet. Dodges bolt/lightning strike, and buys you time while you burn them out. I like it. For the most part it is a better thermo-alchemist.

Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
So the first wall that benefits from Arcades butt boost is off color? Why won't wizards just ban Arcades now?
Is there really a definitive Arcades list that is making waves? I can't seem to track down any references to it as a thing, lots of speculation right after release but then it seems to dry up. (I know this isn't the right forum for this question but you seem to have a thought on it. )

Yeah they will. I lost a match to a deck built around Guttersnipe. I couldn't find my creature removal and we simply just traded life but he had a slight advantage on the clock.
By itself, the clock is too long but it's crazy useful to give that extra point of damage to each spell.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Noticeably worse than Thermo-Alchemist and Guttersnipe. Might still be good enough for standard (obviously together with 'snipe), and definitely one of the payoffs for the jumpstart deck.
Um, this is better than thermo alchemist. It survives bolts and can wall the opponent better in a format where three power on turn two and three is the norm. As is the case in starship troopers, you cant push the nuke button with your hand knifed to the wall.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Bonus: given the name, creature was the last card type I thought of. (Okay, maybe planeswalker came last... but it was even possibly a land.)

Bant players still have Wall of Mist. LOL

Nope but wotc seems to think so.
