I am actually rather convinced that eureka is the rarest (actual set - not garfield exclusives) card in magic because of the sheer number of them I saw torn up.

Nobody defined comical looking globlins more than Kaja Foglio.
Drew Tucker also use to divide us, but as young adults (at the time) a lot of us were not quite refined enough at that stage to appreciate the more abstract side of artistry.

Although it severely lacks originality, soulbonding this with Deadeye Navigator and then slapping Lightning Greaves on it. Deal combat damage, trigger on the stack, blink it out, rebond with DEN, protect with Greaves, rinse and repeat.
Niv, Etrata, and Lazav are great. Emmara, and Izoni are meh. Aurelia is pretty bad as a commander and while it’s possible Tajic is good I’m not holding my breath, but what do you expect from Boros?
Also maybe stop baiting? “Oh this sucks” statements with no explanations about your opinion don’t contribute anything to the conversation and make you look childish.
I didn't care to explain because i thought it was clear as day, NiV is basicallyNiv-Mizzet, Firemind that can't be countered, to be honestly i don't know why they just didn't reprint him, it would be a lot easier for them. Etrata and Lazav aren't great, they do have potential (as standard cards, maybe Brawl) but my post was about EDH.
Niv is the only legendary creature in the set in which i would actually use, simply because if you can get him on the board along with the Firemind, you can do some crazy stuff, but the other card aren't good even as part of the 99, the perfect example of this is Emmara, in standard she has potential (if GW aggro becomes a thing again) but she is useless in every other format, and for me that is a problem simply because she is legendary, most competitive players don't care about the lore, on the other hand a great deal of EDH players do care about the lore, and legendary creatures (Generals) are the most important characters in the lore along with walkers, if WOTC wanted they could've made her into a good general, or at least as a part of the 99 in a token deck, tokens being you know, the Selesnya thing?.
Anyway, there's no point in ranting about it, it's already set in stone, like i said in a previous post, WOTC has nothing to gain by designing cards for eternal players, 99% of their money comes from standard players who like buying boxes and sh**.

Um The new Lazav is a beast in commander. You can reasonably kill turn 4-5 with him. And he allows for a lot of versatility vs the old Lazav....

this is probably the most boring art i have ever seen on a card. "background? who needs it. just go with dark shadows everywhere, nobody will care/notice"

You've never seen Robert Bliss's art during the Tempest block, have you?
I honestly don't get the hate on this card. It's a four-mana exile removal spell, that can also block or be a Lightning Bolt. It's not stellar, but how on earth is that bad? Not every card can be Siege Rhino, but it honestly seems outright silly to me to call it an outright terrible card.
And as for applications to EDH, this seems to me to be one of the most interesting generals to build around (bounce/vanishing/etc. shenanigans, an excellent card to play with Yuriko or other Ninjas, Assassin or unblockables theme, giving them creatures to exile) and it combines board control in an interesting political way with an alt win-con that can actually happen in the land of commander damage. I think it's a good balance of 'able to do things' and 'not a broken combo commander'.

Tokens cease to exist when they leave the battlefield, and are not cards, so that does not work.
