The reason for the indestructible clause is obvious. This isn't instant to play it on an opponent's turn. You use this during a suicidal alpha strike to blank your opponents trades and give yourself a second wave.
This can also combo better with other cards than just an extra combat step. You'll get to untap all your stuff, allows additional attackers that you cast after combat to come in on the final wave, and any upkeep triggers can be added on. If we get any effect that gives an extra combat step in this format, it could get quite nuts (Note that the only two cards that do that in Standard right now are rotating out).
This card is going to make combat against Boros decks a nightmare. If you try to trade with their attackers, you could end up just dying to this. I'm not going to call this a money card for the set, since it relies on turning guys sideways to work, but expect it to be the kill card of any aggressive deck with Red and White.

And what happens when one of your guys eats a Vraska's Contempt (or any non-exile removal spell in response) and you suddenly realize you no longer have lethal? This card is bad. No way it sees any serious play. At least not in any fair deck. If there is a way to chain them without losing or something it's a different story, obviously.
If you could play this and resurgence that would give you another combat step.

"To keep things 100, anything I state is an opinion and not intended to be a fact. Any and all suggestions I give are a 100% opinion. If you need further clarification take the conversation to a PM. I am not in the business of assuming things. I'm only interested in 1 business and that business serves 2 things, Cold L's and Hot Dub's."
I hope that's sarcasm. We just had Glorious End. Different effect, but similar and comparable. Sometimes one can be better than the other.
Fair. I'm almost exclusively a Commander player, and the two play very differently in multiplayer formats. I suppose you're right insofar as the general design premise is similar, though.
The issue is this card feels win more. You’re only going to be casting this if you’re sure you’re going to win. To my knowledge, there’s no card post rotation that can counter the lose the game trigger. Now that may change in the next few sets, but right now this is a card that’s only useful if you’re on the verge of winning; it’s way too risky to use elsewhere. And with the growing prominence of control, even if they printed a card that can counter the trigger, many decks can counter the card and you end up losing.
This card is unolayable jank, and unlike most cards, you don’t want this in EDH. Disappointing to see this right after Glorious End.
i guess you can jump through hoops and idk, run sunforger and sundial of the infinite and hope to get it all into play with enough mana to pull it off AND have enough creatures on board to be lethal by making them survive into next turn... but it'll almost never happen so uh... have fun?
if nexus of fate is anything to go by, instant speed time walks used on your opponents end step gives you 2 consecutive turns. if the second turn is the 'extra', then that is a lot of time to kill your opponent. oh yeah and the first of those 2 turns your creatures are indestructible so they can swing in freely.
this card could be real scary in the right deck
edit: nevermind, after looking it up i believe an EoT timewalk has you taking your extra turn first, then your regular one; meaning you would lose the game on the first of the 2.
I'll probably never use this, but damn that's the most gorgeous depiction of Aurelia so far imo.
Also a bit of a double standard. An angel brings back the dead to fight and its an act of divine justice to win the holy crusade. However, if one lazy necromancer raises a zombie to wash the dishes 'cause he's tired of doing them, he gets labeled as an evil maniac and adventurers are sent to bust down his door.
Yes, I can also confirm - the first sentence in the Japanese text (granting indestructibility) doesn't include "until end of turn". Your creatures stay indestructible during the extra turn, and I think the effect lasts indefinitely if you're able to prevent the game loss somehow.
Yeah, could be an interesting and risky way of making your creatures indestructible indefinitely, if you can find a way around the EOT trigger. For commander I’d probably try to get out grand abolisher on the field before trying it just to make sure they can’t remove the sundial of the infinite or platinum angel I would need to survive.

Angel's Grace is another option for formats where it's legal.
Assume you somehow Stifle the "lose the game trigger." Your creatures have Indestructible permanently. But what about creatures you cast after you cast this spell? They don't get it, right? Just checking.

Correct, creatures that enter afterwards will not receive that effect.

One Last Charge?
Well this is an exciting card at least and interesting to think about it.

There simply is no "until end of turn."
Your creatures gain indestructible permanently.

My Japanese is rusty but I also believe “until end if turn” phrase is missing.
EDIT: I saw the English version circulating in FB, it has the Until EOT clause. Perhaps the Japanese version had a misprint.
