Crackling DrakeUURR Creature — Drake {UC}
Flying
Crackling Drake's power is equal to the total number of instant and sorcery cards you own in exile and in your graveyard.
When Crackling Drake enters the battlefield, draw a card.

Most graveyard hates puts it in exile where the drake still finds it. Only option would be to tuck it back in the deck which is extremely rare or up to the hand of its owner which isn'T helpful at all.

Nope, the Drake would stay equally powerful since it checks exile and graveyard. So if you put card from graveyard to exile or vise versa will not modify the power of the drake.
And his power effect does not target.

Errrr.... I'm pretty sure the U represented the cantrip, so counting power for cards in exile is in R color pie confirmed!
It's been a slow build, but oh boy I imagine the day we get a Legendary Spellslinging Drake (who is indirectly a tribal lord because of the spellslinging).

That is so annoying...really need a graveyard hate card for him. At least Lava Coil kills him.

So, my question here is, how relevant is counting instants and sorceries in exile likely to be? How playable over Enigma Drake will this end up being, given that cost?
Now, imagine if you will, a world where Treasure Cruise and Dig through Time weren’t banned in every format. Except commander. And that’s what I play the most. So I’ll delve away all those spent cantrips to draw more cantrips. I love the direction they are taking Exile matters.
Ain't immune to that disgusting four-coloured-mana CC, though.
This cycle of XXYY cards indicate a limited environment that makes it easy to play three colors. If they feel like they should reward us for not splashing, that means that it´s viable to do so (unless you play these cards ofc).
This is very powerful in limited. 2/4 or 3/4 that cantrips for 4 mana is awesome.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
Also, can I just say this proves */* is still a thing? There are subtle differences in card interactions, though mostly */* is useful for things like Mayael the Anima, "gets +N/+N for each THING" is more useful for things like Reveillark, and "enters the battlefield with N +1/+1 counters for each THING" is, first simpler, since you check once and not each SBA check (though it requires the bonus be square), and secondly, has more synergy with Doubling Season and friends, and with things like Ghave, Guru of Spores, but is vulnerable to Aether Snap.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
If you're playing UR counterburn in standard (which can honestly be a real with thing Electromancer and Guttersnipe) in the format, this thing is a slam dunk over Enigma Drake every time. He replaces himself and still counts jump start spells like Radical Idea and Chemister's Insight and doesn't care about graveyard hate.
The mana cost is honestly negligible in the deck this wants to be in because you weren't casting Enigma Drake on turn 3 anyway.

Ain't immune to Dryad Militant.
How so? This guy counts instants and sorcerers in exile. Which is where Militant puts them.

Urrite, I was thinking Wheel of Sun and Moon or whatever that's called.

You can always hope for a reprint of Valorous Stance or Reprisal.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

On phasing:
I'm loving this as well. But limited? Kinda depends on your jump start spells, i guess.
