At the start of combat on your turn, choose up to one target creature you control. Until end of turn, that creature gains +2/+0, trample if it is red, and vigilance if it is white.
4/5 flying trample and vigilance sounds good on her. The best mentor (and rightfully so) thus far. She even can get buffed by your other creatures with mentor which may be a flavor fail but nevertheless. She'll see play if RW aggro is a thing and we get r/w split cards.

She’s... solid in standard I guess? A 4/5 Flying Vigilance Trample for 4 that pumps a team member permanently and has a currently relevant creature type seems plenty good to me.

Oh she's definitely Boros in nature.

If I am going to spend 4 mana on a creature/planeswalker which currently leads a guild, I would much rather spend it on Aurelia than the Golgari Queen.

She's very much a 'of the army' leader, so learning from her subordinates is on flavor for her.
Well... this is certainly something. I really like this Aurelia.
Now I've got to decide if this finds a spot in my Alesha deck. I think she just might. As while you don't get the bonuses on turns Alesha brings her back, she is still a powerful card when she gets down on curve or can stick around.
And the quest for a more interesting r/w commander continues! Join us next set for more disappointment as we continue to not explore any aspect of this color pair outside of the red zone!
Honestly I'd keep Vigilance and replace Trample with Haste. So she could swing out on her drop, or later on let your new big beater swing out if it's red.
But she's still fine, given what turn she drops on and how she interacts with Mentor as a whole.
I absolutely dissapointed for the total lack of creativity they have for boros. At this point its on purpose. This card is crap. I have been waiting for her for months and all she does is trash. i can't believe wizards won't listen to their player base. I am not asking for a brainstorm, but value. Tokens, Exiling like Etali, there are lots of ways of doing this. This card is just a another joke against the boros commander players.
2 weeks within the Spoilers and we have yet to see an angel other than Aurelia in Boros-related cards (well, it might still be too early...) but I'm having a feeling that she has expunged the other angels so she can rule with awe the Boros more. hmmn...
ps. Chris Rahn art? Hooo, lawdy... I'm hearing dollar bills, coz this is most probably traditional art.

Exactly.
You win the internet today my friend.

Hope is fading for something that I can use. She's a good card. Just not what I need.
Blah
Did you want her to have haste too? She buffs a creature the turn she comes out then starts the beating the following turn.
Vigilance is nice I guess but if you are doing a Red Rush style you are not really trying to block.
But she's still fine, given what turn she drops on and how she interacts with Mentor as a whole.
